Objective:-

You are a network administrator tasked with setting up a small office network. The network
consists of three routers and three LAN segments. The routers are named RouterA, RouterB,
and RouterC, and the LAN segments are named LAN1, LAN2, and LAN3.

You need to configure the RIP (Routing Information Protocol) for basic connectivity between
all routers and LANs. Additionally, you have been asked to implement OSPF (Open Shortest
Path First) for more efficient routing within the LANs.

Topology :-

Lan-1

Lan-2
Lan-3

Routing Protocols:
The network employs two routing protocols: RIP and OSPF.
RIP (Routing Information Protocol):
RIP is used for its simplicity and ease of configuration. It allows Router1and Router2 to
exchange routing information and advertise their connected networks. RIP ensures basic
connectivity between all routers and LANs.

Router:0-5 RIP Protocols

Result:-
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the network has been successfully designed and configured to meet the project
requirements. By implementing RIP for basic connectivity and OSPF for optimized routing, the
network achieves seamless communication between all routers and LANs while promoting
efficient data transmission within the LAN segments. The chosen IP addressing scheme
enables easy identification and management of devices within the network. Through rigorous
testing and verification, the network's performance has been found to be satisfactory, meeting
the specified objectives.
Overall, the network design and configuration demonstrate a reliable and scalable solution for
the small office network, providing a foundation for future expansion and improvement. With
RIP and OSPF in place, the network is poised to deliver consistent connectivity and efficient
data routing to support the office's operational needs.
