QUESTION NO.1:
Describe the importance of visual aids in power point
presentation?

Visual Aids:
A visual aid is any material that gives shape and form to words or
thoughts. Types of visual aids include physical samples, models, handouts,
pictures, videos, etc. Visual aids have come a long way to now include digital tools
such as overhead projectors, PowerPoint presentations, and interactive boards.
OR
Visual aids are things that you can look at, such as a film, model, map, or slides, to
help you understand something or to remember information.
Benefits of Visual Aids:
 Summarize information and also comprise it.
 Reduce the amount of spoken words and would be able to explain
thing in short words.
 Clarify and show examples.
 Create more of an impact, for example, if your presentation is on the
health risks of smoking, you may show images of the effects of
smoking on the body rather than describing this. You must consider
what type of impact you want to make beforehand - do you want the
audience to be sad, happy.
 Emphasize what you're saying.
 Make a point memorable.
 Enhance your credibility.
 Engage the audience and maintain their interest.
 Make something easier for the audience to understand.
Importance of Visual Aids:
In order to tone up your Presentation skills, no one can deny the
significance of visual aids which you demonstrate your audience to assist them in
getting understanding about your Oral presentation. Only, the most efficient
presenters use visuals when the information is new or it’s highly technical.
Undoubtedly, when your audience can both see and hear what you are conveying
and then certainly they are more likely to keep hold of the information. Not just
this, visual aids also help in drawing the attention of listeners and acts as a great
assistance for the audience and speaker as well.
When you are selecting visual aids for your Presentation, the choice can be easily
made from Multimedia, White Board, Objects or Samples, Blackboard, Handouts,
Charts, Overhead projector and many more you can explore online.

 Visual aids support your ideas.

 Improve audience comprehension for the presentation.
 Feel connected with the audience.
 Visual aids helps to illustrate complex ideas.
 Giving audience a break from listening.
 Can help people recall information.
 Organize and demonstrate presentation.
 Enhance understanding and support claims.
 Help the presenter to stick to the intended plan.
 Make a presentation entertaining.
 Speed comprehension and add internet.
 Visuals grab an audience’s attention.
 Visuals build emotional bridges with the audience.
 Visuals help audiences retain information.
 Visuals keep your speech on track.

“They say a picture is worth a thousand words—it’s cliché but

true. Images make viewers feel things that words cannot and
give presenters a way to connect with their audience on a more
visceral level.”
QUESTION NO.2:
Describe the one bad and one good presentation you have
attended. What elements were there in good one that were missing in
bad one?
Bad Presentation:
Once I attended a presentation and the presenter did not even planned the
presentation and not prepared the presentation and the way of delivering the
presentation is not planned and the presenter did not even familiar with the venue
and audience and ignoring the audience and keep explaining the slides and if
someone want to ask question so the presenter ignore it and did not response it and
using inappropriate language for the presentation and did not even use the proper
bilingual language for the explanation and also the proper phrases and crisp lines
wasn’t use by the presenter so the attention of the listener or audience is did not
towards the presentation and that might failing purpose of bad presentation.

Reasons of Bad Presentation:

 Not Preparing Enough.
 Not Familiarizing Yourself With the Venue and Equipment.
 Ignoring Your Audience.
 Using Inappropriate Content.
 Being Too Verbose.
 Using Ineffective Visuals.
 Showing a Lack of Dynamism.
 Avoiding Eye Contact.
 Speaking Incoherently.

So by all this reason the presentation occur bad and the interest of the students
wouldn’t be able to develop towards the topic and the preparation of the topic is
also very untidy and not properly done and because of that the audience did not get
interest in presentation and wouldn’t able to do eye contact with audience and
defining the wholesome and the inappropriate use of visuals and because of that
students interest wouldn’t be able to develop between the students.
Good Presentation:
Once I attended the presentation
