Roles of the Nurse in Disease Prevalence
1. Implement public health surveillance
2. Monitor local health personnel conducting disease
surveillance
3. Assist other health personnel in outbreak investigations and
rapid surveillance during a disaster.
4. Assist in the conduct of surveys, program evaluation, and
other epidemiologic studies.
