Position Title: Marine Project Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for a reliable Marine Project Manager to plan & execute the construction projects and
oversee their progress, along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner to ensure that the site and
grounds are always maintained in a safe, clean, and healthy state for employees, staff and visitors and
other users of the site facilities as well as be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and
scheduling of the projects.

Experience & Education: 12- 18 Years of Exp. in Foundation Projects with BE/BTech in Civil Engg / Maters
in Geotechnical Engg/ MBA Construction Mgmt.

Industry Experience: Understanding of Construction of Civil & Infra, foundation engineering,


Geotechnical Engineering.
Job Location: Remote / Site -based Job and willing to travel extensively to project site locations.

Reports to: Operation Manager & General Manager

Job Description:

Operational Excellence:
• Plan & monitor proper execution of projects together with competent team for successful delivery, focused
in as per contractual conditions and to ensure, profitability by exhibiting high level of Marine Project
Management and Operational Excellence skills
• Responsible for project construction delivery for Jetty construction using Gantry method or barge method
• Ensures execution of Jetty construction activities in conformance with project drawings,
specifications, schedules, cost estimates, procedures, quality requirements and safety standards
• Fully understands and complies with Keller risk management policies and procedures.
• Recognizes major risks and takes appropriate measures to reduce risks to the company.
• Understands in detail the contractual obligations and terms of delivery and payout
• Quality "Zero Defects" for project under control and follows the guidelines defined under QMS
• Planning: Analyses all risks (including contract related) involved in the project and plans
proactively to mitigate the risks and ensures effective tracking of the project plan/ timeliness/
schedules
• Adherence and Compliance to all systems and processes relating to Contract Management and
guidelines defined under the Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) standards
• Develops plans and strategies with the project team to maximize profitability of projects.

Deeper understanding of Cost and Market:

• Takes all steps to achieve the Gross Margin as earmarked in the costing sign-off document.
Makes the effort to achieve beyond the agreed gross margin level
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable knowledge on Project Costing to contribute for Operational Excellence &
Business Development (BD) including satisfying Risk Management process
• Project Cash Flow: Always ensures 100% certification of Invoice as per the agreed project
schedules and makes attempts to realize payments within the defined timelines Always keeps
the project in a positive cash flow.

Change Management / Sustainability

• Identifies, tracks and addresses changes; escalates changes when necessary.


• Ensures sustainability of environment during project execution and updating project on new
environmental laws and ensuring compliance as required.

Stakeholder Management
• Negotiates effectively with the stakeholders (Internal & External) on various project related
issues and milestones. Manages all escalations and remains self-accountable unless the
issues are resolved.
• Leverages customer relationship to ensure payments are made within the stipulated timelines.
Manages multiple priorities effectively both with internal and external stakeholders
• People Management, planning & overall execution of the project
• Establish and maintain Relationship Management to secure new contracts with support from BD Team
People Leadership

• Manages large teams and delegates effectively
