UNIT 17 : HOW MUCH IS THE T-SHIRT?


Lesson 1 : Parts 3, 4, 5

A. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to listen and tick the correct pictures then
write the correct answers.

I. Warm up and review:
-Sing a song -Do the task.
Game: Who’s faster?
- Divide the class into 2 groups.
- In their groups, one student goes to the board, look
at the picture and read the word exactly.
- For each correct word, he or she throws the sticky
board into the cirlce to getting point.
- The group with the most points wins.
II. Pre –listening:(8’)
-Ask Ss to open Student’s book on page 47, look at
the pictures at part 3 and say the listening purpose:
You are going to listen to three conversations and
tick the correct box under each pictures.
- Ask Ss to attend to the clothes and prices.

-Look at the pictures and answer.

- Give a few seconds for pupils to look at the


pictures and read the prices. Ask them to say the

A. Objectives:

clothes (plural), using How much are the …? They’re…
B. Language:
-Vocabularies: jeans, shoes, trousers, sandals
-Sentences patterns : How much are the trousers? They’re 99,000 dong.
C. Teaching aids : Pictures, puppets, posters, CD and CD player.

I. Warm up and review: (3’)

II. Presentation:
1. Pre-teach vocab: (3’)

Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat
- Set the context: Linda and Mai are in the
