Description of the topic: This research identifies the
influence of PA on employee productivity and
motivation in an educational university, to understand
the relationship between PA &employee motivation,
the extent to which PA process affect employee
productivity, to determine the extent to which
appraisers affect staff motivation and to determine the
challenges in appraising employee performance.

5) Hypotheses -Performance appraisal influence employee


productivity at Parul university.
PA helps them to set & achieve meaningful goals, help
to provide an atmosphere where all are encouraged to
share one another’s issues regarding work.
-Employees are demotivated by performance appraisal
systems. PA may not motivate all the employees, but
it still has a positive impact on employee performance.
-Appraisers do not impact on staff motivation.
-Appraisers play a role in influencing staff motivation.
-Challenges exist in the PA process.
-There is no challenges in appraising employee
performance.
