Thedolite
This instrument is used for measuring horizontal and vertical angles
Telescope: The object is seen with the use of a telescope. Within the vertical
plane, it rotates around a horizontal axis. There is a maximum of 20 degrees of
accuracy.
Horizontal Circle: This is referred to as the lower plate for the most part. The
horizontal circle is a precision machined protractor with clockwise graduation and
numbers ranging from 0 to 360. The circle can be stopped in any place and
allowed to revolve both within and outside of the tribrach by using the lower plate
clamp.
Vertical Circle: A vertical circle moves in coordination with a telescope after being attached to it.
From 0 to 90 degrees, each quadrant has a number that represents graduation.
Index Frame: The item consists of one vertical arm and one horizontal arm that are perpendicular to
each other. The telescope's horizontal arm makes it easier to calculate vertical angles, while its vertical
arm keeps it at a specified level.
Total Station
The purpose of a total station instrument is to measure the lengths, angles, and
coordinates of a particular spot on the surface of the earth. These data may be used
to create maps or plans of the surveyed area.
