Hello! My name is Sophia. I am 12 years old. I am from Argentina. I live in Buenos Aires.

parents are Fernando and Lucrecia. My father is a lawyer, he is 40 years old. My mother is a
secretary, she is 38 years old. I have one sister and one brother. My sister’s name is Adriana
and she is 14 years. My brother’s name is Rodolfo, he’s 16 years old. I go to Centro Escolar
Aparicio school. My favorite subject is English. I have two pets, one cat and one dog. My
favorite food is lasagna and sushi. I am short, thin and beautiful. I have brown eyes and blond
straight hair. My favorite color is green and red. My favorite sport is cycling and swimming. My
favorite TV show is Sponge Bob. I am an elementary school student and I speak Spanish and
English.

Family meeting

He got off the airplane. He stepped on the ground. It was a long flight. There was a baby crying
on the flight. He could not sleep. He exited the airport. He called a taxi. It drove him home. He
paid the taxi driver and thanked him. He looked at his house. He was glad to be home. The
lights were on inside. He saw shadows through the window. His family reunion had started. He
knocked on the door. His father opened the door. "Welcome back home, Greg!" he said
smiling. He went inside. He greeted everybody. He said hello to cousin Alex. He hugged and
kissed his grandmother. He shook the hand of his brother-in-law. He hugged his sisters and
brothers. He was overjoyed to see his mother. His mom gave him a big kiss. It was a good
family reunion. He did not want to go back to California.

Children should be encouraged to do simple chores such as making the bed.
