Stefan P. Butz joined DKSH as a member of the Executive Committee in January 2017, before becoming
CEO in March 2017.
From 2013, Stefan P. Butz was the Chief Executive Industry & COO Europe/China with the Intertek Group
Plc in London, UK. The company ranks among the leading global enterprises in the worldwide quality
assurance industry. He joined Intertek in 2008 as Group Executive Vice President and was initially
responsible for setting up its Industry and Assurance division, as well as for Strategy, Mergers &
Acquisitions, and Marketing. Before that, he worked at TÜV Süd, one of the world’s largest testing,
certification, and inspection companies, as Head Corporate Development from 2000, and then from 2002
as CEO & President of the North American operations, headquartered in Boston.
Stefan P. Butz began his career as a Management Consultant and worked at Accenture Strategy in
Munich for many years. Stefan P. Butz holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm.)
from the University of Bayreuth, Germany. He has also completed executive programs at Harvard and
Wharton, both in the USA.
