INSTRUCTIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT

BS A&F 3RD MORNING
1- Select an Islamic banking product from real time Pakistani Banking sector and explain
step by step the process of the underlying product. You should make a flow chart after
discussing the basic concept of the Product. Highlight how the specific bank you have
selected offers the product, what are the underlying contractual requirements and how is
the process from the beginning to the end.
2- If there are any specific features that are necessary for the product to fulfill Shariah
compliant requirements, discuss them too.
3- Your assignment should not be more than 2-3 pages. Use diagram to explain the required
content.
4- Writing format: Use font: Times New Roman, 11 for main content and 14 for headings.
Justified, 1.5 line spacing. Maximum word limit is 2500 word.Include a front page.
Referencing is important. Use APA style of referencing. Include the official website of
the Bank, Latest financial statements of the bank and your course book to understand the
concept in detail.
5- Deadline for submission of this assignment is in two weeks i.e. Thursday, 7 December
2023 at 11 am. Delay in submission will result in negative marking. Failing to submit the
assignment will result in a zero grade in sessionals.
6- Weightage of the assignment is 10 percent of the total grade included in the sessionals.
Students can take prior appointment to discuss the assignment on individual basis.
