This intricately woven bundle of fungal threads is a living fragment of the Archfey’s root
system, glimmering with phosphorescent green twinkling lights. The bundle is sticky to the
touch and smells overwhelmingly of both decay and new life.

The Carrion King's Vestige has 8 charges and regains 1d4 + 2 expended charges daily at dawn.
While attuned, you can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from
it, using your psionic ability:
 false life (1 charge)
 pulse wave (3 charges)
Additionally, while attuned, you have a +1 bonus to your psionic ability checks, save DC, and
attack modifier.
When the Carrion King's Vestige reaches an awakened state, you gain the following benefits:
The staff has 12 charges, and it regains 1d6 + 3 expended charges daily at dawn. You can also
spend charges to cast the following spells from the staff:
 Bigby’s hand (5 charges)
 Evard’s black tentacles (4 charges).
If you do not have any form of telepathy, you now may speak telepathically to any creature you
can see. If you do have some telepathic ability, it is extended to a distance of 1 mile (single
target), and to everyone you can see (multiple targets).
