Big Data Privacy and Security Challenges in Industries

Dr. B. Chidambararajan & his team discus about security & privacy
threads of big data industries, but focus on analyzing & processing of
data so prevention to security is needs to be handled intelligently. Big
Data is emerging fields in which large data sets used for analysis the
data & then provide results according to that available data. Data is
always of risk because customers & companies needs its high
availability & integrity but hackers always try to reach to that data its
misuse. High volume of versatile data is very hard to manage & use, so
data bases used for getting better result & easily doing data related
task like storing, retrieving updating, searching, transforming &
analyzing [2,3,4]. Big data (High volume of versatile data), always have
important concerned related privacy & security[5]. Data Privacy refers
to usage, collection & sharing of data in right way[6].Data Security
refers to prevention of data from hackers or un-ethical use of
data[6].Privacy of data is achieved during transmission by encryption
(change the form of data)[7] & Integrity of data is achieved by
metadata headers(Contains information about data) & filtering process
(if needed) at receiving end[8] but high volume of data increase the
challenges for data privacy like inaccuracy, versatility, anonymity,
irrelevancy. We have some well-defined challenges so focus on those
challenges should be our first priority, challenges are detecting
problems by privacy analysis (Analyses metadata headers),Validating
data at receiving end by analyzing source of data, Protect stored data &
its transaction log files by auto tiring (Movement of information to
different disc for better performance), Provide privacy to confidential
data of industries & its customers & there should be related protocols

for avoiding privacy & security threads. Big data has various application
in industries like banks, aeronautical, health & defense & handling large
volume of versatile data is very hard task without innovating suitable
solutions of privacy & security of data.
