Open/Click Rate low?

If your email open/click rate is low that can mean many things, but the most
obvious one, is that your strategy isn’t working, whether that’s your layout
of the email, the content that you upload onto your email, the font you use,
the size of font you use, because trust me, all of those things have a
massive impact, on whether your customer wants to click on your email
and view it. So, how do I make my e-mail look more professional and
sophisticated?

Make sure you use the non-default font

Why, you may ask. Well here’s your answer. Imagine your customer goes
through 10-20 websites every single day, whether they’re doing online
shopping, trying to contact customer support, watching YouTube, doing
anything on their computer. The font that most brands and companies use
is the default one, which means that they don’t stand out to the customers.
So for email marketing, if you decide to use a font that is abnormal, your
product or email will stick with the customer for a long time, as you’re using
a unique font, unlike other competitors.

Content of the email

The content that you upload into your email that you send out to your
customers is by far one of the most important features of the email that
decides whether your customer clicks on the email and reads it, and then
takes action, or deletes it right away. Imagine if your email looked
something like this:

Hi there ___,
Look, I found this nice product, it’s at 50% sale and you can get it with the
following link:

Let me know what you think!

___
Evidently, this isn’t the most appealing format of your email, however you’ll
be surprised how many people actually use this format in their emails,
which is exactly why they don’t have the open/click rate that they want. If
you decide to change this format to something that looks like this:

Hello there, ____!

Evidently once you start grabbing the attention from your customer by
including things like discounts, comparison, reasoning, they are way more
likely to click on your email and purchase the service that you are
promoting. It’s that simple.
All you have to do is just write an email that is sophisticated, has a lot of
detail (but NOT too much), use an appropriate font and size of font, use a
nice layout, maybe even include a couple of images, and then you’re done
- you will start to see your open/click rate skyrocket!
