CENSZ THE SMART SOLUTION CEN NITRO HANDBOOK CENs Smart Instructions Please read completely before using. Tool and parts needed to use and enjoy your new CEN nitro car/boat. A.High quality Nitro fuel with nitro percentage between 10-20% nitro. 5.Fuel bottle to fill up fuel tank — (part #670427) 2.CEN plug heater/ glow igniter. (part #670403) Step 1. Charge glow igniter The nitro engine requires a glow igniter The tires need to be glued to the rims to prevent them from slipping, resultingin to light the glow plug to start the engine. performance loss. Glue the tires to the Always make sure it is fully charged before trying to start your engine. Step 2.Install AA batteries The transmitter and receiver both need to have batteries installed before doing anything else tothe car. If you start the car before installing them it will run. away from you ( Voiding Warranty ). You may use NiMh or NiCd or to alkaline batteries. Be sure to completely charge rechargeable batteries before installing. Step 3.Check your fuel Make sure you are using the proper high quality fuel with the correct nitro % (10-20%) and minimum of 18% oil. Step 4.Install your air filter rims by putting the tire on the rim and seating it. Run thin super glue (cyano) around the rim of the wheel until you have glued the entire tire to therim. Dothis to each tire. Always wear eye protection when using super giue(cyano). Step 6.Assemble the antenna Receiver \/ Antenna Wire (Fully Extended) Antenna Pipe _Body Step 8.Check for proper operation of servos With the radio and car all turned on( engine not running) make sure the thr- ottle servo and the steering servo are all working correctly. Make sure when you turn the wheel on the transmitter left the wheels turn left, and then check the right side. When you pull the throttle trigger the carburetor should open, when you push the trigger back the brakes should be applied. If your servos are slow moving or responding youneed to check for flat batteries. Step 9.Checking the transmitter range Before running you car, have someone hold the car and you with the transmit- ter and walk away from it turning the front wheels. Notice how far away from the car you are when you notice its not operating correctly. Don't drive the car near that distance or you may lose control and damage your car. Do not operate the car if you notice any trans- mitter problems. (Voiding warranty) Step 10. Filling the fuel tank up with fuel Using the primer pump on the fuel tank )press the button one or two times. Watch for the fuel from the tank go through the fuel line and into the carburetor. Once fuel reaches the carburetor don't pump anymore. If you pump the primer too many times you will flood the engine. Step 12. Starting the engine Do not start the engine until you have read and understood all the directions. By starting the engine you have indicated that you have checked the transmitter and servos junction correctly. With transmitter and receiver turned on, attach your fully charged glow igniter onto the glow plug. With one hand holding the glow heater, use your other hand to give the pull starter quick short pulls ( Pulling the pull start cord too far will break the spring inside and void the If this is happening to yours, don't worry about it too much. It is a normal stepin running a nitro powered R/C car. All of this will go-away when your engine is broken in well. Step 15. Break-in procedures Lean=less fuel Rich=more fuel ‘Lean Get the engine started, the engine should be running very rich at this point. There should be oi! coming out of the exhaust pipe. Run at low RPMs for at least 2 tanks worth of fuel. During this time there should be a thick trail of smoke coming from the pipe. Acceleration will be sluggish and poor, after at least two tanks of fuel you can start to lean out the high-end needle. That's the one with the brass sleeve around it at the top of the carburetor. To lean the engine turn the screw clockwise 1/8 of a turn steering trim is adjusted correctly and that the car tracks straight. Next make sure the throttle trim is set correctly, turning the throttle trim one way will give more brake drag, the other way more roll. There Is also a dual rate adjustment for the steering. This will adjust how much steering throw you have. (How much the wheels actually turn). Step 17. Time to have fun Now your carand engine should be up and running well. The overall perform- ance of the engine Is determined by how lean you run the engine. The "leaner" the engine the faster it will go, and the hotter it will run. You want to find the point where its running very well with Jots of power, but not running too hot.IF you don't see a light stream of blue smoke from the exhaust its too lean, You then need to richen up the top end. (Screw with brass sleeve around it) All of the engine adjustments listed above are not certain because of variations in type of fuel, brand, %nitro, humidity, elevation, etc. Step 18. Fine tuning low-speed mixture and idle screw. to the idle speed, if after a few seconds the idle speed drops then lean the bottom ‘end mixture 1/8 of a turn, retest. Continue checking until the idle stays the same for about 20-30 seconds. If when you're driving the car you experience any stalling or hesitation when accelerating, then the low end mixture is too lean, Richen it 1/8. of a turn (counter clockwise) and retest. The idle screw should beset as low as possible and still allow the engine torun reliably. The idle screw is the screw under the air filter with the spring around it. Step 19. Mounting the body using a drill or body reamer make holes where the dimples on the body indicate. Make sure you are drilling the hole in the correct place. It is recommended that you cut a big hole in the windshield Align the holes in the body with the body mounts. Then install the pins through the holes in the mounts. Step 21. This is the most important step of all Drive your new CEN R/C nitro car. Have fun and drive safely. Precautions that are needed to be taken *Because there are electronics in the car it should not be run through water, wet grass, mud or anything else that may get water inside the electronics. *Do not drive the car when your radio is showing low battery voltage. *Do not drive your car at night, on public streets, or in large crowds. *Do not drive if the servos are slow or unresponsive, this usually means your batteries are flat , replace with new *always use common sense when driving your CEN car or truck. Abusive use will only result in poor perform- Fun Factors: Throttle linkage When you are checking the set-up of your throttle linkage you should not have then engine running. The throttle linkage on your Fun Factor should look like the linkage in the picture. Make sure that when you pull full throttle on your transmitter the carburetor is fully opening. When you let off the trigger the carburetor should go to neutral setting. To check this, press the trigger back to apply brake, while doing this look at the carburetor opening. The opening should not move at all when you push the brake, If itdoes you need to turn your TH Trim on your radio to get the carburetor to its neutral position. Neutral position is where it's resting onthe idle screw. The idle screw should be the only thing holding the carburetor from closing all the way. Important: If you purchased your Fun Factor RTR then the linkage should be set-up already. You still need to check and make sure that everything is adjusted correctly for Gener ae ae ae eas, horn. Next slide the spring then the last collet on, tighten the setscrew on the last collet just to hold everything on. We will setall the collets later. Step2 After you have completed step 1 now its time to hook-up the brake linkage. First put the Z bend into the hole 1-2 in from the square mount on the servo horn. Slide one collet onto the rod. Next put the rod through the brake arm. Then slide a piece of fuel line fallowed by the last collet. Tighten the last collet to keep it on, Step3 First collet we are going to set is collet Aas shown in the picture, With trans- mitter and receiver all turned on give full throttle. The servo horn should go towards the back of the car. If it doesn't, you need to use the servo reverse switch on your transmitter. With the throttle in neutral, slide the collet up to the square rod mount and tighten the setscrew. Next slide collet B towards the rod mount compressing the spring in the middle slightly. Look at the picture to see how much. Step 4 Now we are going to adjust the brakes on your Fun Factor. With the throttle in oe ee ee a GX1:Throttle linkage When you are checking the set- up of your throttle linkage you should not have then engine running. The throttle linkage on your GX1 should look like the linkage in the picture. Make sure that when you pull full throttle on your transmitter the carburetor is fully opening. Next put on your servo horn at about a90 angle to the front of the car like the picture. Next put the throttle rod throw the lower hole on the carburetor arm. Next slide one collet, the spring and then the rod mount onto the rod. Using the supplied screw, fasten the mount to the horn. It's best to get the rod that connects to the carburetor as straight as possible. Step 2 Slide the rod through the brake arm and thread on brake nut. With transmitter and receiver still all turned on, push the carburetor rod in to make sure it's in its neutral position. Slide collet A towards the rod mount to gently put pressure on the spring. Next, with everything In neutral position slide collet B onto the rod and up against the rod mount. If this was done correctly when you pull full throttle the carburetor should fully open :When you let off the throttle it should close the carburetor to its neutral position. Neutral position is when the SP1:Throttle linkage The throttle linkage on the SP1 is very close to the GX1 linkage. Step 1 Using the supplied rod, put the one end Ler Baja/Aqua/Wave Shark: Throttle linkage Step1 With everything all hooked up, set the throttle trim on your radio to the middle .Next put on your servo horn so the horn is 45 (90 for Wave Shark) to the servo like the picture. They are the same and use the picture for an example. onthe rod mount to secure the rod. Now check your work. Pull the trigger all the way back and the carburetor should open all the way. When you let off the trigger it should go to neutral. CEN NITRO ENGINE MANUAL For NX-12, NT-16, NX-16, NT-18 High performance engines WARNING! Failure to follow what is instructed in this manual could void your warranty and cause permanent damage to your CEN engine. Introduction We would like to say thank you for purchasing anew CEN high performance engine. Our engines are manufactured to the highest standards, which in return will give youlots of enjoyment, Please look at and understand all of the adjustments on your engine before attempting to make adjustments on your own. Please be sure to read entire instruction manual before ettempting to start your new CEN nitro engine. Read the break-in instructions very closely. This step is one of the most important steps to take to, ensure a good running reliable engine. This engine must be properly broken in before maximum performance can be obtained. Please follow the instructions step by step B Srammipe =) tape toy hi ibhgr ides aia elatian aan. Mar 4 Fuel enters the engine through the carburetor where it is mixed with air. The fuel / air mixture is then drawn into the crankcase, The crankshaft has a rotating valve, which opens and closes the crankcase to let fuel into it. On the pistons down stroke, the crankcase becomes pressurized, and fuel is drawn into the combustion chamber through intake ports cut into the sleeve. On the upstroke, the fuel is compressed and ignited. When first trying to start your engine, the electrically heated glow plug causes the fuel to ignite. Once the engine is running the fuel is ignited by rapid compression in the combustion chamber. The exhaust is then released through a third port in the sleeve. The oil that is contained in the fuel mixture lubricates the surfaces of the piston and the sleeve. The oil in the fuel also helps to cool the engine while running. Some of the oil is burned when in the combustion process which is what creates the blue smoke trail from the ar: 3. Fuel bottle, needed to fuel up your fuel tank.(part#G70427) 4. Small Phillips and flat head screw drivers, Needed for making adjustment to carburetor. 5. After-run oil. Should be used after running the engine to prevent rust and corrosion. 6. Spare glow plugs. Glow plugs will always be one of the first items to need replacing in a nitro engine. 7. Air filter; never run your engine with out a good quality air filter. 8.5/ 16-inch nut driver or glow plug wrench. Glow Starter (G70403) The glow heater Is a battery-powered device that heats the glow plug so the engine can be started. You should not leave the glow igniter on the glow b, plug for long perio ap ctl thie could hunt up your clow 2. 3-5% castor oil must be usedina synthetic/castor oil blend of fuel. 3. Nitro methane(Nitro) content should be around 10-20%. The best fuels on the market today are castor/synthetic blends. The castor provides high temperature lubrication while the synthetic oils help prevent varnish build up inside the engine. The higher quality fuels also contain anti -wear agents, anti-foaming agents, lubrication additives, and rust and cor- rosion inhibitors. Use fuels that are made for use in cars, not airplanes. (Airplane / boat fuel is ok for marine engines ) Car fuel will give better per- formance with easier tuning, and longer run times. Fuel Bottle (G70427) Most brands of fuels are sold in one -gallon containers, this makes it very hard to fill up your small fuel tank with out a smaller bottle. You could also choose to get a small hobby fuel pump to help get fuel into your small tank. Always keep your fuel container ‘clased To cut the engine you can either run itout of fuel or pinch the fuel line until it stalls. The switch on the car only turns off the electronics in the car, not the engine. 2. Always make sure the batteries in both your car and your radio are fresh or fully charged. Attempting to run your car with weak batteries willmake the carnot respond tousers controls. It could even completely become uncontrollable and becomea runaway car and severely damage the car. 3. Check the wires from your battery and your antenna wire every few runs. These wires could become da- maged and result in loss of control. 4. Before starting the engine, always check the range of the transmitter before running the car. Short range can be the result of abroken antenna wire or weak batteries. Starting the engine screw counter-clockwise 3 1/2 full turns out. Step 3: Setting the idle speed The idle screw is just a carburetor barrel stop. It just stops the carburetor from closing too far. Looking at the throttle opening on the carburetor, the opening should be between 1-11/2 mm. at the widest point in the opening. The idle speed will increase the wider the ing the air iter Never run the engine with out an air filter. Doing so will cause premature engine failure. Using a zip tie to secure the air filter from failing off during hard driving. Step Step 6; Priming the engine On top of the fuel tank you will find a Rolantan aeckna.. *Mithacte - eka al the engine. Wait a few minutes then retry. If the starter is hard to pull, you could also loosen the glow plug a turn then retighten once you have the engine started. If the engine does not start, have a friend hold half throttle on the transm- iter to help getit started. You could also open the carburetor manually by moving the throttle arm. If, after many tries, you still cannot get the engine to fire you may have a fouled glow plug, glow heater not char- ged or working correctly, or the engine maybe flooded. Most starting problems are glow heater or fuel related, Notice: CEN high performance engines must be correctly broken-in for maximum performance and life! Rushing this process can result in premature engine failure. One important thing to remember when breaking in anew engine, it will appear to not run correctly. It will stall, operate very inconsistently, and may even foul glow plugs, Don't get frustrated with it. Just keep working with it and fReuHickeas SM nie ane ine ooata left counter-clockwise will richen the air/fuel mixture. This will cool the engine and make it last longer, When adjusting the idle screw, turning to the left will lower the idle and right will raise the idle. Remember to open the carburetoralittle whenever you tighten the idle screw to prevent breaking off the tip of the screw. Always break-in your engine without the body onthe car, you wantas much flow as you can get to keep the engine cool, Do not run the engine too lean or you will over heat it and cause permanent damage to the internal components of the engine. It isnormal for the engine to consume a lot of fuel during break-in. Thisis because you are running it richer than you normally would to keep the engine cool and to flush out the engine as the parts seat themselves. Because of the richer than normal setting the perform- ance of the engine will be limited. After break-in, you will then lean it out to gain performance, It's always a good idea togetanextra glowplug (short, cold plug). It is normal to have to replace it after break - in because of the deposits left on in from the break-in process. Glow plugs are 5.When the engine reaches normal running temperature, it will pick up speed and performance will improve. 6.When the tank Is close to running out bring in the car and shut off the engine. Let it cool completely, then refuel and run again. Part of the break-in process is also to heat cycle the parts in side the engine. 7.Remember always run the engine with a clean air filter, Sians of overheating If your engine stalls from overheating is most likely has caused damagetothe components inside it. The simplest way to test for over heating is to put a drop of water or spit on top of the engine head. If it boils away instantly shut the engine down and let it cool off. If it takes 5-7seconds for the water to evaporate away, then the engine is running at a good tempe- rature. Hobby shops sell temperature guns that tell youwhat they are running at. Ideally you want itto run around 260 degrees. Tuning engine for power By now, your engine shouldbe broken You canctart to adiust it for hi. Tuning the high-speed mixture The high - speed mixture will affect the way engine runs at mid and high R.P.M.s. This is the main needle that you will adjust the most. Once you get your engine running well, this will be the only needle that you should have to mess with, Run the car ona smooth flat surface with enough room to let the model get up to top speed. Keep track of the speed as you slowly (1/8 of a turn at a time) lean the engine. You can lean it as long as you continue to have thick blue smoke coming out of the pipe. If the engine gets up to top speed and looses power most likely you have leaned it too much. You want the high-speed mixture to be lean enough to get good power and still keep the engine cool. Use atemperature gun or the spit testto check the temperature of your engine.Remember, youwant the engine to run around 270° or spit to sit on the head for around 5-7 seconds. it will make it easier to driv conditions. After running After you have used your car for the day and are ready to store it here are some things you should follow to keep it in top shape for the next time you use it. loose Because there is methanol inthe fuel any left inside of the engine will attract moisture. This could cause corrosion onthe internal parts of the engine. To combat this you should do the following. 1 Drain the fuel tank completely 2.Using your glow heater start the engine and run it until it burns all of the fuel out of the fuel lines. 3.Remove the air filter and apply 6 drops of after run oil into the carburetor, Now pull the pull starter a few times to circulate that oil. Do not use the glow heater for this step! Do not store your car with fuel inside of i 4.Clean off any fuel that remains on the car. Clean off any dirt or debris that remains on the car as well. Trouble shooting The glow plug may also be the problem if your engine just seems to be running poorly. Youmay also check to see it the glow plugisleaking. Look for bubbles at the base of the glow plug Tighten the glow plug, if problem still persists, replace glow plug with new. The only true way to see if your glow plug is bad is to replace with new. Checking by putting into glow heater tosee ifit lights 1s good to see if your heater is working, it may not show that a plug is fouled. Usually if the first few coils don't light up the plug isbad. If the plug doesn't glow bright orange, your glow heater may need to be charged. When installing newglowplug,Joosen plug using a 5/16-inch wrench. Be careful not to get any dirt inside the engine. Look for the copper gasket, don't lose this, may be needed if new plug didn't come with one. Replacement glow plugs are availab- le from your local hobby shop. Your engine came with a standard short, cold plug. Do not use plugs with idle bars. Nitro Fuel Many problems occur when using low quality fuels. Many times we get cars to tune and just by putting good quality fuel in them they run use a low cost blend of nitro methane and nitro propane. If your fuel isnota blend of both castor and high quality oil, its high recommended that you do not use it. Simply put, cheap fuel will cause 2 lot of problems that will make your experience a bad one. You MUST use a fuel that meets the guidelines listed above to assure 2 good running engine. Be sure to usea nitro content between 10-20%. The higher the nitro content, the hotter the engine will run. Usually its best to use lower nitro% in warm weather and higher in cold. Always check the fuel lines for cracks or splits at the fittings on the tank and the carburetors. These cracks or splits will allow air to enter the line, which will lean the fuel/air mixture. If you think you may have any problems with the fuel lines replace with new. Flooding it is easy to accidentally flood the engine. If you find the pull starterdifficult to pull it is asymptom can adjust how your engine will run. ‘There are many factors that can result in your engine not running perfectly. Fuel, ambient temperature, and humi- dity all affect the way the engines going to run. If one day your engine runs strong, then the next day it's really humid and cold then you may need to make adjustments to the fuel mixture. This Is a normal thing to expect with all nitro engines. Pull starter problems Almost all starter problems are due to pulling the cord out too far. Other things that cause failure of pull starter are, pulling the cord when the engine if flooded, and pulling the cord likeit's a lawnmower. Your car/boat is not a lawnmower and should not be treated asone. Do not pull and let go of the cord, this could snap the handle off the cord, or damage the spring inside. *Make sure to hold the engine, not the hull when starting your boat or car. Cooling problems Overheating is one of the most damaging things that can be done to a nitro engine. Many things can cause it, poor air flow, mixture set to lean Air cleaner The air cleaner always needs to be on the engine when yourun yourengine. It should always be kept clean or replaced with new if it can't be cleaned. When washing air filter foam, remember to use light oll on the out side of it. Best way to do this is by placing the foam in a small plastic bag. Next place a couple of drops of light oil oninside of the bag, donot use too much. Then rub the foam around in the bag spreading the oil. You now should have a lightly oiled air filter foam, Put air filter back together and reinstall on engine. Cleaning The engine should be cleaned on a regular basis to keep dirt and grim down to a minimum. Not cleaning your engine can cause the engine to overheat. Using a nitro wash, or denatured alcohol with a toothbrush to scrub the parts clean. Be sure not to spray any type of cleaner on the servos receiver or the batteries. [f the engine is extremely dirty it's best to remove It from the chassis or boat. *DO NOT GET ANY CLEANER ON THE HULL OF YOUR BOAT. Always check the drive train of the car to make sure it's not bondup. This will cause the engine to overheat and loose perform- Using your model safely As the owner of the model, itis your responsibility to see that itis used ina safe and reasonable manner. By using common sense, you will avoid serious injury to your self, or the people around you. Here is a list of things to know: *Nitro fuel is dangerous. The fuel is extremely poisonous and can ignite in contact with a spark. Follow all instructions on the outside of the container. Keep your car/boat and all tools including fuel, away from small children. The exhaust from the engine conta- ins polsonous carbon monoxide gas. Always use in a well-ventilated area » Never start your engine indoors unless there is adequate ventilation. The engine, exhaust pipe, and of course, the engines cooling head, will become extremely hot when in, and after use. Try to avoid touching there areas as they have the poten- tial to burn you. ‘We do not recommend running your model at night, on public streets, or in crowded areas. Always be careful not to come in contact with the engines flywheel. Never run the engine with out the air filter. Replace or clean if dirty. Always check air filter when refueling tank. If missing, shut engine offand replace. When car is upside down, don't rev theengine. If car is upside down too long it will stall. Do not over-rev the engine. Only give throttle when wheels are on the ground. Allowing the engine to run out of fuel while at high R.P.Ms can foulthe glow plug. Test the radio system before opera- ting each time. Always make sure to use fresh batteries. If you notice slow servos or any low voltage light on your radio come on stop using and replace batteries. Do not drive your carin thick grass orinsoft sand. This could lead to the engine overheating. Your engine is not waterproof! Running your model in water will damage your electronics and your engine. ¢The starter cord should not be pulled out more than 6 inches. Longer pulls will only damage the spring inside the recoil starter. Quick reference h elp chart! Be careful not to get any of the dirt from the outside into the carburetor or glow plug opening. Inspecting the connecting rod Remove the four screws that attach the Step 1. back plate. *When reassembling, its best to replace the back plate gasket. You should now see the connection rod. Look for cracks or other signs of wear ordamage. Also check for worn out bushings, there should be very little play between bushings and the shaft. Replacing the piston andsleeve After completing the steps above, remove the two screws that attach your manifold. Remove the four machines screws that gtthnh this millabartae Maul carchulty: in order not to strip the head screws, they will be TIGHT (part #684234) Step 5. With the cooling head removed, gently pull the sleeve out, Take note of the way the ports are pointed ,and where the notch on the sleeve is placed. Step 6. replace the Teflon pin covers.Next put the piston with the connecting rod inside the case and slide the rod on the crankshaft. *Be sure to have the piston facing the correct direction, Step 8. Install the new sleeve, piston with the sleeve and slide Align the sleeve line up with the hole in the engine case. If there is not opening , you need to turn the sleeve 180° When you turn the engine, you will see the piston push up, look at the piston as its going pass the exhaust opening. You should NOT see a port onthe side of it. If you do, the piston is in the wrong way, Turn 180', Step 11. put the one-way bearing in the recoil assembly on the same way as you took it off. Removing the clutch assembly To remove the clutch shoes or the flyw- heel, follow the following steps. Step 1. Remove engine from model and clean off all dirt and grim. Step 2. Remove the clutch beil by removing the screw at the end of the crankshaft. You will need to use a large pair of pliers to grip the flywheel as you loosen the screw. Step 3. Remove the clutch bell. Now you will see the clutch shoes. Remove the "E* clip with a small flat head screwdriver, Take note of the direction the clutch shoes are installed. You want the shoes to follow the direction of the engine. Pull the clutch shoes off leaving the spring around them. You should now just be left with the flywheel. To remove the flywheel, grip the flywheel using a large pair of pliers, then with a 5/16" nut driver, loosen the clutch nut. The flywheel should now come off; it may require a few taps to break it loose. Step 4. Check all parts for wear and replace as needed. Check the inside of the clutch bell for material left by the clutch shoes - Ifa lot of material is melted to the inside of the clutch bell, you may need to replace the clutch shoes as well. *IF you leave the car sitting still or towing items for long periods of time ; you definitely should consider replacing the clutch shoes and even the clutch bell. Check the two bearings in the clutch bell. Are they smooth? They should be smooth and not begritty or locked up. If they are, you need to replace i eee eae Step 1. Wt Remove the four screws that attach the head totheengine. The cooling head should come part. Remove anything that should not be there. Step 2. Replace halves back together andattach with four screws, Recoil Starter Repair "aii een amie Next Carefully disassemble the recoil using extra caution with the recoil spring. Step 1. ess SZ — ee jm o To reassemble the starter, start by ins- erting the end of the spring into the slot onthe starter spool. Slowly wrap the spring around the Inside of the spool like the picture, Step 2. With the cord through the hole and the spool inside the housing, its time tocoil up the spring. Using a pair of needle nosed pliers, grip the spring through the center of the spool at the bend. Make sure the cord is not pulled into the house or youneed to start all over. While holding the center of the spring turn and coil the spring clock-wise to tighten the tension. Turn the spring one full rotation from being pulled back into untie the temporary knot that was tied in step 2, Slid the handle spacer then the handle onto the cord. You now need to tie a double knot into the end to prevent the cord from being pulled back in. Please note it may be difficult to hold the cord and tie a knotat the sametime You may want someone to help you. Your recoil should now work correctly. While holding the spool in the housing give the cord a few pulls to check it. If it doesn't pull handle snugly against the housing you need to tighten the tension on the spring as described in step 3. Final notes You will find that the mechanics’ of a model engine are some-what simple. If you take your time and pay attention to the way you took it apart you should have no problems with regular maintenance or replacing worn engine parts.
