Introduction:
In the movie Wall-E there is a saddening scene where Wall-E, the robot is trapped
under a heavy load and struggling to free himself. This scene affectively conveys
emotions and tells a story without the use of verbal communication. Here are
some non-verbal elements that are used to convey emotions and situations.
1. Kinesics: Wall-E’s expressive eyes and body language communicate a range
of motion, from distress to determination. As he struggled alone under the
heavy load.
2. Vocalics: Wall-E moves and attempts to free himself conveys his struggle
and efforts, adding depth to the scene.
3. Haptics: There was no touch showed as Wall-E was struggling alone.
4. Proxemics: Wall- E had no space to move in, he was completely bound in a
short space because of the heavy load.
5. Chronemics: The timing of movements and pacing of the scene contribute
to the overall emotional impact.
6. Physical Characteristics: The posture of Wall-E under heavy load can
indicate his physical strength and severity of the situation.
7. Environment: The soundtrack and sound effects in the scene play a crucial
role in enhancing the emotional experience without relying on dialogue.
8. Artifacts: There were no artifacts visible.

Conclusion:
The moral of the story is you might get yourself in a situation, where you are just
by yourself although there are people around you willing to help but due to
certain circumstances they couldn’t really help you in time, which clearly shows
that you should not wait for someone to help you, do whatever you can on your
own.
