Simple Present tense: done by Prof Ahmed HINDA

Underline all verbs form of Simple Present Tense.

Every morning, the sun rises in the east, painting the sky with vibrant hues. Birds chirp
melodiously, announcing the start of a new day. The town wakes up gradually as people begin
their daily routines. In the heart of the town, there's a bustling marketplace. Vendors set up their
stalls, displaying colorful fruits, vegetables, and assorted goods. The aroma of freshly brewed
coffee wafts through the air from a nearby café.

Amelia, a talented artist, spends her mornings creating magnificent paintings in her
studio. She draws inspiration from the world around her, capturing the beauty of nature on
canvas. Her artwork often sells quickly at the local gallery. Meanwhile, in a quiet neighborhood,
Mr. and Mrs. Thompson tend to their garden. They plant vibrant flowers and carefully prune the
bushes. Their garden is a haven for butterflies and hummingbirds.

As the day progresses, children laugh and play in the park. Friends gather for a game of
soccer, their shouts of excitement filling the air. Nearby, a group of teenagers practices
skateboarding tricks in the skate park. In the evening, families gather around dinner tables,
sharing stories and laughter. The night sky twinkles with stars, and the moon casts a gentle glow
over the town. Some residents take leisurely strolls, enjoying the peaceful ambiance. Late at
night, the town gradually quiets down. Streetlights illuminate empty streets, and the world settles
into a serene slumber until the sun rises again.

subjects like 'I,' 'you,' 'we,' and 'they.' No 's' is added.
 Example: "I walk to school every day."
o When the subject is a singular third-person pronoun ('he,' 'she,' 'it') or a singular
noun, 's' is added to the base form of regular verbs.
 Example: "She walks to school every day."
 Adding 'es':
o Verbs ending in '-s,' '-sh,' '-ch,' '-x,' or '-z' require 'es' when forming the simple
present tense for singular third-person subjects.
 Examples: "He passes the ball." / "She watches TV."
o Verbs ending in a consonant + 'y': Change the 'y' to 'ies' when forming the simple
present tense for singular third-person subjects.
 Examples: "He tries his best." / "She studies regularly."
 No change to the base form:
o Certain irregular verbs and some common verbs do not follow these regular
