discrimination of any kind.

3. Article 7: All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection

hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any
media and regardless of frontiers.

conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.

7. Article 25: Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of
himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social
services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old
age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances his control.These articles ensure that individuals with
disabilities are entitled to the same rights and freedoms as any other person, and that they should not
face any type of discrimination. It affirms the right to work, protection against unemployment, and
access to healthcare and social services, among others.

Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) - The CRPD is an international treaty that
aims to promote, protect and ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights by people with
disabilities. It outlines a wide range of protections including accessibility, health care, education,
employment, social protection, and participation in political life.

International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) - The ICESCR is a legally binding
treaty that recognizes the right to education, work, health and an adequate standard of living. It also
specifies that these rights must be enjoyed without discrimination, including on the grounds of
disability.

Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) - CEDAW is an
international treaty that prohibits discrimination against women in all areas of life. It can be used to
protect the rights of women with disabilities, who often experience multiple forms of discrimination
based on their gender and disability.

Overall, these conventions seek to ensure that people with disabilities are recognized as full and equal
members of society, with the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.
