CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

I. INTRODUCTION:
Have a joyous afternoon, everyone, as we begin our Christmas
celebration. Let's remember that God gave us hope, bonding, and love,
especially in the past times, days, and years that passed us by. Sometimes,
it’s good to reflect on the past; it has been a good or bad experience. With
that, let us watch a short video.
II. PRESENTATION: Video Clips 2023
Remember that the reason why we are celebrating is because of the
birth of Jesus. We must always bear in mind to highlight Jesus. We should
acknowledge that the delivery is an excellent opportunity to reach out to
others and build relationships with them and Christ.
III. GOSPEL READING: The Nativity of Jesus (Luke 2:21)
IV. Group Sharing: (5 minutes)
1. Each table will have glasses on the table. Paper is inside the glass for
them to reflect and share.
2. Invitation for anyone else to share their experience.
Guide Questions:
Christmas is the grace of God; he was born and became a man. In what
life experience have you been reborn with Jesus, and which of these has
been a miracle in your life? And how has it changed you?
VII. GENERALIZATION:
The birth of Jesus was the birth of a Godman, a wonderful person who was
both divine and human. There are many things happening now in our
lives, whether good or bad, but at the end of time, we will have
tremendous compassion to do the something that makes us PEACE, LOVE,
AND HOPE. Therefore, God is Alive! Just like in the quote from Calvin
Coolidge,
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace
and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real Spirit of
Christmas.
VI. Finale: The baby Jesus will be present, and everyone will sing the song
– Joy to the World.
