Robbery Case in Lampung, 2 Police Become Executors and 1 Council Member Become
Custodians

Yan Budi confirmed that the two police officers whose were dragged into the case were members
of the police assigned to the Polresta Bandar Lampung. They are Ipda YML and Bripka HDR who work in
the Paminal Unit of the Bandar Lampung Police. The two policemen are suspected of being involved in
the robbery of a compost truck that occurred on street Dr Sutami, Tanjung Bintang on November 30, 2020
yesterday.

The robbery incident happened to the victim named Eko Susanto (25), a resident of Lematang
Village, Tanjung Bintang. At the time, Eko was carrying the truck loaded with compost. At the scene of the
incident, the truck was driven by Eko and it was intercepted by a car that was boarded by five perpetrators,
namely two police Ipda YML and Bripka HDR. Then the officers of the Bandar Lampung Transportation
Agency, GTT (45) and EW (35), as well as the dismissal of Brimob, HEN (40). Kapolsek Tanjung Bintang AKP
Talen Hapis said there were nine perpetrators who were suspected of being involved in the robbery. "The
mode is that the victim was intercepted and said that the truck was in arrears in credit payments. The
perpetrator claimed to be a debt collector," Talen said. The other perpetrators were SAL (45) and AR (30)
are Tegineneng resident, and a member of the council with the initials HTM who was suspected of being
a collector.

Kapolresta Bandar Lampung Kombes Yan Budi Jaya is still awaiting the results of the investigation
of two of his members who are suspected of being involved in the robbery of a compost truck. "We are
still coordinating with the South Lampung Police regarding this matter. Two of my members are currently
still witnesses," said Yan Budi at the Malporesta in Bandar Lampung, Monday (7/12/2020) afternoon. Yan
Budi added that his party could not take any action, including sanctions against the two policemen.
According to Budi, his party is waiting for the results of the investigation by the Polres of South Lampung
and Polsek Tanjung Bintang for legal certainty. "Still a witness, and not yet examined. So we are waiting
for the results. So nothing can be decided yet," said Yan Budi.
