Holiday Postcard

Dear Miguel,

I hope this message has found you well. Greetings from Italy! We are in
Rome, and this is the first time I have ever been to the most enchanting
city, and I am having the best time of my life here! So far, we have explored
the Colosseum, wandered through the Roman Forum, tossed a coin into
the Trevi Fountain, and marveled at the beauty of the Vatican City.
Moreover, we have indulged in a variety of local dishes, including pasta
carbonara, osso buco, tiramisu, gelato, and pizza. Each dish has been a
culinary delight, but the classic spaghetti aglio e olio holds a special place
in my heart.
Yet, there are still so many things we have not done. We have never toured
the Pantheon before, but we are planning to do it tomorrow. Since we
arrived, each day has been filled with new adventures, and I can't believe
how much we have already done. We have just finished exploring the
vibrant Trastevere neighborhood, and we have discovered something new
every day.
One of the most exciting experiences was our visit to the renowned Stadio
Olimpico, the stadium of AS Roma. It has been a truly thrilling experience
for me as I am a big football fan. Walking through the facilities, exploring
the locker rooms, and feeling the energy of the place where such
important matches are played has been simply incredible.
In addition to our stadium visit, we have immersed ourselves in the rich
cultural scene of Rome by attending an open-air opera performance in the
historic Baths of Caracalla and marveling at the breathtaking architecture
of the Pantheon.
