SB2019-344 Revised Tilt Calibration Procedure
!! WARNING
• DO NOT connect a handset or laptop to the controller
network while using the Graphic Display panel in Service
Mode. Doing so can cause the controller programming to
be corrupted and the truck to run improperly.
NOTES:
• Ensure the First Stage (free lift) Switch is installed before
calibrating. Otherwise, the truck will think it is in second stage
and will inhibit the tilt range.
• The program WILL NOT SAVE changes if the Pump is running.
Allow the Pump to stop for 2-3 seconds before saving changes.
• Forward = Forks leading
• Reverse = Forks trailing
1. Turn the Key Switch ON (cycle the Brake Pedal if required).
2. IMPORTANT: Tilt the Mast to full forward tilt position.
3. Press FN 3 on the Meter Panel once to enter tech mode.
4. Enter 55555 (service password).
The Diagnostic Mode screen should now be displayed.
5. Press FN 2 and scroll down to the ADJUSTMENT MODE
SCREEN.
6. Press FN 6 to enter ADJUSTMENT MODE.
7. Press FN 2 to scroll down to ADJUSTMENT.
8. Press FN 6 to enter ADJUSTMENT.
TRACTION CONT RT screen should now be displayed.
9. Press FN 2 and scroll down until the PUMP CONTROL screen
is displayed.

Verify Calibration
1. Tilt the Mast full forward and then full back.
2. Position the Mast to 90 degrees vertical position.
3. Lift the Carriage above free lift. Tilt and measure the Mast angle
from vertical at full forward and then full back.
The mast should now be limited to 3 degrees tilt forward and
3 degrees tilt back.
4. If the Mast tilts forward more than 3 degrees and tilts backwards
more than 3 degrees, repeat Steps 10-34.
5. Repeat the verification process to ensure the Mast is limited to
3 degrees tilt forward and back.
