I see four main issues to address. The welfare of our residents will always come first. The safety of our school children will
be assured by clearly marked school zones and morning and afternoon traffic control. Our senior residents who live on
fixed incomes will always be considered. Protecting Burtons unique historical heritage while encouraging new businesses
and supporting existing merchants, programs, and activities will always be a priority. I will encourage cooperation among
all community stakeholders. Taking good care of our infrastructure is paramount. I will continue projects to maintain and
improve our streets, sidewalks, and water and sewer lines, while keeping costs at a minimum in these harder economic
times. Finally, I will pursue outside sources of revenue to enhance Burton Village. I will apply for grants, seek sponsors, and
trim cost wherever possible. I will not turn down offered grant monies
