Procedure
The participants will receive the three questionnaires, for alexithymia, experience in close
relationships, and perceived parenting, via Google Forms. Informed consent will be taken and they will
be explained about what the study entails. After careful analysis of their responses and scoring, the
participants will face a semi-structured interview with questions about their ability to experience and
express emotions and how they think it affects their close relationships. The contents of the interviews
will be transcribed and will undergo a thematic analysis. The final results will contain an analysis of the
questionnaire scores, supported and backed by the themes in the interview transcriptions.
