Applicant: I am ______ I have extensive experience in finance as well as sales and marketing roles. I'm a
go-getter I love working with people I'm always excited to learn I recently completed my MBA at
Polytechnic University of Commerce in Manila. I began my career in the summer of 2015 as a financial
analysis category during my time there I developed new sustainable forecast models that allow for better
market analysis. However, after 2 years I decided, it's time to change my career path I'm in order to
foster my personal growth I joined the Coca Cola as sales strategist and worked with the sales and
marketing teams. I was promoted twice in the span of 18 months and spearheaded a new packaging
strategy that is currently saving the company.

Applicant: After two years of Coca Cola I decided to go back to school complete my MBA so that would
be more capable of pursuing the cross-functional roles than a major student.

Interviewer: oh great thank you very much for sharing that. Can you tell me time what you had a
complex problem to solve with a tight timeline. How did you go about doing that, What steps did you
take there.

Applicant: That's a great question as a sales strategist at coca-cola I use my communication and analytical
skills in combination with my strong initiative to spearhead an initiative to save the company. I realized
that the packaging we were using for the product was outdated it was preventing us from competing on
an industry-wide scales loose ultimately using us money; with this in mind I pitched a new strategy to the
senior management team in order to persuade them I analyze this new endeavor. I created a report that
investigated the implications of simplifying the packaging on both the brand at large and internal affairs,
this involved in that market research as well as financial ant analysis this report has to be drafted within
a timeframe of two weeks. In order to meet this timeline I outlined which tasks in to be addressed first
I'm in order to create a logical report and went about completing them so this involved meeting with the
production team sales and marketing teams the financing teams in the end the new packet a new
packaging strategy was accepted by the Canadian Board and implemented shortly after.

Interviewer: oh that's great to hear that can you tell me why you're the best candidate for this position?

Applicant: three key reasons I take initiative I'm a good communicator and I'm very analytical. I took the
initiative to consolidate the packaging in Western Canada because I saw flaws in the old strategy in terms
of communication skills I had effectively convey to the senior management team the value of the venture
in order to persuade them that this would be a worthwhile undertaking as well at both coca-cola and
Cadbury I was able to hone these communication skills because both positions involved a lot of
collaboration with different departments I was also able to demonstrate my analytical skills and past
positions at both Cadbury and coca-cola I implemented an anti numerous and sustainable financial
models with the goal of improving overall efficiency in operations at coca-cola specifically I conducted
market research in order to get a better sense of brand awareness and to better evaluate the pros and
cons of an important initiative the result of which was cost-savings finally having just received my MBA
I'm fresh out of an environment that allows me to hone transferable skills such as negotiation conflict
resolution leadership and teamwork I'm ready and eager to apply myself to succeeding the snow roll
excellent

Interviewer: thank you very much, so as you know this is a new position in your opinion. What's key to
succeeding in this role

Applicant: In my opinion the key to succeeding in this position is having strong analytical skills and
initiative given that it is a new position it will be up to the successful candidate to prove what's relevant
and necessary to do a similar situation this actually happened to me in both of my previous jobs at
Cadbury a construction constructed to financial models during the time that I was there because I knew
that they would benefit the business in the long term as well my position of Coca Cola was completely
new at the time that I was hired so I was up to me to shape the role to a valuable asset to the company
to do this I took the initiative to analyze different aspects of packaging because I felt that it could I could
save the company money in both situations I took the initiative and apply my NLO analytical strengths to
ensure success

Interviewer: great well thank you very much for this it was really helpful for me to get to know you better
today so that's concludes the interview and I will get back to you in a few weeks thank you thank you
