Drug trafficking is a global illicit trade involving the cultivation, manufacture, distribution,
and sale of substances that are subject to drug prohibition laws. Drug trafficking is one of the
most serious problems for most countries all over the world. Unfortunately, this type of business
is rather profitable, if not consider that it is constantly related to murders, kidnapping,
prostitution, and other crimes. We think that drug trafficking is not decreasing because of its
increasing demand from addicted consumers. On the other hand, drug has been coming in
because leaves of cannabis, collected from the regulatory body, under governmental laws, for
medicinal purposes are not covered under the NDPC Act, and can be legally used as an
Ayurvedic drug.
