INTRODUCTION
This guide is to ensure that all suppliers, Quality development, Quality Department, SUD,
are using the same measurement criteria when measuring garments. There will be
exceptions to these guidelines which will be noted on measurement chart in the order
sheets.
All measurements should be taken with either a plastic or metal measuring tape.
Plastic measuring tape will stretch over time; these should be checked periodically
against a control precision measuring tape to ensure accuracy.
All measurements are to be taken on garments laid flat, in a relaxed position, with
all wrinkles gently smoothed out. All measurements should be taken with buttons
and/or zippers fully closed unless otherwise indicated.
Definitions:
cb = center back
cf = center front
hsp = Highest Shoulder Point
NUMBERING SYSTEM
Numbers are based on an ABC system. Each number identifies a “zone” of the body.

V9 back pocket position outer Measure from bottom of waistband to top of outer edge at back pocket.
