Arrogance, Haughtiness,

 Pride: An exaggerated sense of who we are - Is 14:14B I will be like the most high (take His
place). The very nature of satan. We see satan desire this and try to drag man (Adam & Eve)
into the same positioning.
Hab 2:4 his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him

Proud seem to extreme to describe our intent, action, conversation

*Obsessed about your achievement/accomplishment/status? Can’t wait for another to know?
*Overtly embarrassed about your status, accomplishment?
*Always wishing you have the opportunity to show what you can do (self promotion)
*Want to be seen, noticed, want people to be impressed with what you know? your faith? What you
can do? John 5:43 - I receive not glory from men, I crave no human honor or mortal fame
You are content to receive praise and glory from one and other
*Too concerned/worry about what people might think or say?
Hides and covers
Presumes and assumes (leans on own understanding) - Prov 13:10 Wisdom opens your heart to
receive wise counsel, but pride closes your ears to advice and gives birth only to quarrels and strife

*Pride PRETENDS, faker, puts on a facade

*Pride is an abomination-*Pride removes far away from God- James 4:6 God resists you when you
are proud but continually pours out grace when you are humble.”.

 Prov 16:18 -Pride goes before a fall-----Your boast becomes a prophecy of a future failure.
The higher you lift yourself up in pride, the harder you'll fall in disgrace.

Prov 3:27 -Where is boasting then? It is excluded.

Humility
 If you must come you must be real cos Heb 4:13- Before God, nothing created is hidden,
but all things are naked and open to the eyes of him to whom we must render an account.

Prov 11:2 When you act with presumption, convinced that you're right, don't be surprised if you fall
flat on your face! But humility leads to wisdom.
John 5:30, by my own self do nothing
HONESTY
- Submit to God
- cast the cares on God
- acknowledge God in all his ways- Prov 3:5 in all your ways acknowledge Him
-asks and inquires
- knows and conveys that God is the source and sustainer
- Look beyond yourself- to be dead to self

ME TO SEE IT, RESIST IT AND OVERCOME IT, HELP ME LEARN MEEKNESS LIKE JESUS IN JESUS NAME
