1. Introduction

LAPTOP Daily life activities are associated with the support of

electronic devices, which make our lives easier and more
convenient. Especially for students like us, electronic
devices in general or laptops in particular, have brought
many advantages in their learning activities and some
disadvantages as well.
2. Advantages
Portable And Handy
People usually carry laptops every day in their backpacks along
with them each day. Laptops are not affected during traveling as
they are made of durable materials.

Independent Of Power Supply

microcomputers have rechargeable batteries. You can charge
your laptop once and use it as long as its battery lasts.

Online And Offline Operations:

Laptops can access the internet, which has increased their
productivity. It can run numerous online functions. You can also
manage many offline tasks like working on ms word, office, and excel
2. Advantages
Simple Functions:
The easy-to-use benefit played a major role in making it a part of
every profession and every household. Students who belong to
something other than the computer field also use it to do their
assignments and make notes.

Replacement Of Heavy School Bags:

Laptops have sufficient storage, and they can save all the syllabi.
Students in their classes open it and study from it.
3. Disadvantages
Distract students from studies
Having a laptop can be distracting especially with the ability to download social
media applications. (Eg: Tiktok and Instagram). Access to inappropriate
information, videos or pictures.
Not memorizing the lesson carefully
Multiple studies have indicated that students who take handwritten notes
generally outperform students who type their notes on a computer
3. Disadvantages
Cheating
Students can copy and paste each other’s work into their assignments, all it
takes is a single group message to exchange the answers. They can even
search the Internet for other people's works and submit them as their own.
Less human interaction
They have less human interaction. Teachers and parents worry that lack of face-
to-face interaction will leave students unable to effectively communicate and
interact in-person.
3. Disadvantages
Excessive screen time
It can often seem that students are constantly in front of a device — cell phones,
tablets, computers, and gaming devices are prevalent in their lives

Health effects
Have a bad effect on their health - make eyes tired. It can reduce your physical
interaction with society which may have a longer ill effect on your mental,
physical, and social health.
4. Conclusion
We cannot deny the advantages that laptops
bring to our learning activities. But we can limit
the disadvantages they bring. To limit
disadvantages, use your laptop for the right
purpose, at the right time, and avoid sitting too
long in front of the computer to not affect your
health.
