The new designed pipe mill has strengthened the
EEW position in the SAW pipe market. The invest-
ment is based on the following key elements:

• excellent location
• well established business history in Malaysia
• new pipe mill / production flow design
• high production flexibility
• high efficiency, based on fast production speed
• welding acc. to all SAW methods
• incorporation of most modern QC facilities
• capacity 30.000 tons at phase 1 (>= 50" OD)
• capacity 120.000 tons at phase 2 (<= 48" OD)

SAW pipes manufactured:

• on an 84.000 m² plot
• with 18.000 m² production area under roof
