Print Template and Die Cutter Tips

Here's a print template I made up for myself and thought I would share with you guys, once I got it all
measured out it has worked like a charm. All I have to do is drag in the front/backs of my nov's into
different groups. Then when printing I just hide the layers and groups I don't want. The template includes
room for 8 nov's, groups for fronts, groups for backs, groups for die cut "cheating", and a layer for the
hologram.

Die Cutting:
I found that when I was cutting out my novs that I was leaving just a few mm on either side of the
Red/Blue bar on Texas. So to compensate for that, I added in a small extension on both sides of the bar,
but only on my print template. That way if I don't cut 100% correctly, it will not have a small white line
between the bar and the edge. Im assuming that this "cheating" can be done for other states, you would
just have to extend whatever is running into the edge. I also started to print my novs with a background
color code #fefcf2. So on the template I have a small border around each area with that color.
When cutting, I always slightly pull the lever down until the card is flexed out, just before it makes the cut.
At that point I stop and make sure that everything is lined up, once i've triple checked, I slam the lever
down as hard as I can, and get a clean cut everytime.

This is for printing on 8.5x11 Teslin, it is not lined up for the perforated teslin. When placing the 8.5x11
7mil Laminate w/ Magstrip, the magstrip is lined up perfectly.
