Working field:
The Institutes research and teaching activites include electronic design automation through the
development of algorithms, methods and software tools. The focus of your work will be to support
the design of novel long, smart, and flexible electronic systems as part of a research project,
These systems are based on flexible printed circuit boards (PCBs) anc are intended to replace
conventional cables, e.g. in catheters, and enable new products for applications with complex
electrical connections. The main task is to develop @ new software tool for geometric modeling
and electrical simulation of these three-dimensionally shaped flexible electronics, Design rules for
flexible electronics are then created based on simuletion results,
Requirements:
+ very good to good university and, if applicable, PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer,
science or a comparable discipline
+ In-depth knowledge of microelect
+ programming skills
+ 00d proficiency in written and spoken English
+ high degree of independence and personal responsibility
+ structured and team-oriented way of working
