INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1) The candidates are advised to download all pages of this Admit Card. The candidate may also
note that the Admit Card issued earlier against this Advt. & Post for written test scheduled to
be held on 17.09.2023 [postponed subsequently] will not be valid for attending this written
test.

2) The candidate must bring print out of this Admit Card to the Examination Centre. No
candidate will be allowed to attend written test without this Admit Card. The candidate is also
required to bring one of the PHOTO IDENTIFICATION CARDS in original issued by Govt. of
Central/State viz. Aadhar Card/Electoral Card/Driving License etc. along with this Admit Card
at the examination venue. The identity of the candidate will be verified with the original proof.
In case photograph is not printed in the Admit Card, candidates are advised to bring two
recent passport size photographs to the examination venue. The candidate's photograph
should be legibly printed and visible on the photo ID card and should match with the details in
the Admit Card.

3) REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN TEST DATE/TIME/SESSION/VENUE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED


UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

4) Candidates are required to reach the respective exam venues on reporting time as mentioned
in the Admit Card so that the entry formalities ie., frisking, capturing of Photograph and IRIS
Image etc. can be completed smoothly before the examination starts. The main gate of the
examination venue will be closed 1 hrs before the commencement of the examination time.
NO LATE ENTRY IS ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

5) Once Frisking, IRIS capturing & Photography are completed at registration desk of exam
venue, the candidate should proceed to the allotted room and should not leave the
examination room before the conclusion of the written test. After the examination, the OMR
answer sheet must be handed over to the Invigilator in the examination hall.

6) The Admit Card should not be damaged or smudged. The hall ticket portion with uploaded
photograph will be collected and retained by LPSC.

7) The candidate should sign the hall ticket only in the presence of the Invigilator in the
examination hall.

8) Possession and use of electronic devices such as Mobile Phone, Microphone or any other
Associated Accessories, Bluetooth enabled devices, any other electronic communication
devices, Calculator, Log Tables/Pager, Digital Diary, Watch/Wrist Watch, Health Band, Book /
Notes, metallic wears, Bangles, Belts, Bracelets, anklets etc. are strictly prohibited inside the
examination hall. If any candidate is found in possession of any of these devices/documents in
the examination hall, his/her candidature will be cancelled. ANY INFRINGEMENT OF THESE
INSTRUCTIONS SHALL LEAD TO SUITABLE ACTION AGAINS SUCH CANDIDATES APART FROM
REPORTING THE SAME TO POLICE AUTHORTIES, IF FOUND NECESSARY.

9) Candidates are allowed to carry only Admit Card, ID proof, ball point pen and transparent
water bottle to the examination hall.

10) Candidates are also advised not to bring any of the following items to the examination centre:
a. Stationery items like textual material (printed or written), bits of paper or any electronic
devices/communication devices etc. as specified in clause 8 above.
b. Other items like Watch (Digital/Analog), Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Hair pin, Hair band,
Belts, Caps, Scarf etc.
c. Ornaments like ring, Bracelet, Earrings, Nose Pin, Chains/Necklaces, Pendant, Bangles,
Brooch etc
d. Any eatable items (opened/packed), except Transparent Water bottle;

11) The candidate shall observe the following dress code while coming for appearing the
examination:
a. Wear light clothes with half sleeve Shirt/Kurta/T-shirt/ trouser/Salwar not having big
buttons/brooch etc.
b. Wear open slippers and not to wear shoes of any kind.

12) Candidates who wear specific attire for religious or customary reasons will be required to
report to exam halls within the reporting time itself for mandatory physical frisking.

13) Luggage or any valuable/ costly items or jewelry to the examination venue are not allowed to
the examination centre as arrangement of safe keeping of the same cannot be assured and
exam venue will not be responsible for safe custody, loss or theft.

14) Candidate should co-operate with the staff at examination centre in frisking.

15) No arrangement will be made at the centre for keeping any articles/items belongings to the
candidates.

16) The duration of the test is 90 minutes (1 hr 30 min) and the Question Paper will contain 80
nos. of MCQ [1 mark for each correct answer and carries negative mark of 1/3 for each wrong
answer].

17) Read carefully the instructions in the question paper before answering.

18) In case the candidate found any other candidate using unfair means in the examination hall, it
should be immediately reported to the Invigilator on duty.

19) Carbon coated OMR answer sheets will be provided to mark the answer options for objective
type.

20) You have to select the right answer by marking the corresponding circle on the answer sheet
by blue/black ball point pen only as per the instructions on the answer sheet.

21) Candidates are allowed to take the duplicate copy of the OMR answer sheet and their
question booklet after the examination. Candidates may note that photocopy of the OMR
answer sheet will not be given later under any circumstances. Hence duplicate copy of the
OMR answer sheet shall be preserved by the candidates carefully for future reference and
LPSC shall not be responsible for loss of the duplicate copy of the OMR sheet already provided
to them.

22) Outstation candidates are advised to reach the test Centre well in advance in order to avoid
absence due to unexpected incidents like delay in arrival of train/bus, hartal calls etc. It is the
sole responsibility of the candidate to reach the exam venue well before the specified
reporting time.
23) No travelling allowance will be paid for appearing in the written test.

24) Candidates belonging to PWBD category shall be eligible for compensatory time of additional
20 minutes for every hour of the examination. ie., 90 minutes normal time plus 30 minutes
compensatory time (total 120 minutes)

25) The PWBD candidate has the discretion of opting for his own scribe or requests the
examination body for the same. In case PWBD candidates need scribe facility, they are
required to bring their own scribe along with his/her Photograph and Photocopy & original ID
Proof at the Venue Control room for record and verification. The scribe also need to undergo
entry formalities ie., frisking, Iris scanning, photography etc. The qualification of the scribe
shall be one step below the qualification of the candidate taking the examination. The PWBD
candidate shall produce the certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical
Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution with necessary
information/undertaking and produce the same at the time of written test.

26) After the written test, the answer key will be published in the LPSC website. The candidates
may raise objections, if any, with valid justifications within three days from the date of
publication of answer key. Objections received thereafter or through any other means will not
be considered under any circumstances.

27) The result of the written test & skill test schedule for the shortlisted candidates will be
published in the LPSC website https://www.lpsc.gov.in. Hence, the candidates are requested
to visit LPSC website periodically for the schedule of above details.

28) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
