Editor-in-Chief April 2023 – Present
● The Daily Mississippian is the University of Mississippi’s independent, student-run newspaper. The
DM publishes stories online daily, a newsletter to 27,000+ subscribers twice a week and circulates
5,000 copies of our print newspaper weekly.
● The editor is responsible for managing a team of over 70 writers, photographers, designers and
section editors to ensure impactful, quality content is delivered through all of our publication outlets.
Ole Miss Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl/Compass Oxford, MS
Team Captain/President May 2022 – Present
● The UM Ethics Bowl Team participates in the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics
tournaments. The tournament challenges students to use normative ethical theory to navigate a series
of ethical challenges. Compass is the club component to the UMEB team which hosts talks
throughout the year.
Mortar Board Tassels Chapter Oxford, MS
Historian May 2023 – Present
● The Tassel’s Chapter of Mortar Board, a national service-based honors society, does projects
throughout the year to promote early childhood literacy.

EXPERIENCES
The Commercial Dispatch Columbus, MS
Intern May 2022 – July 2022
● As a Dispatch intern, I was tasked with building relationships with local government officials, state
representatives, and community leaders to develop compelling stories daily on anticipated and
breaking news for publication in print and online. I wrote two stories a day during the five day week.

UNIVERSITY PROJECTS
“Medical Marijuana: Good Medicine?” Fall 2022-Spring 2023
● Working with a team of fellow students and professors to produce a series of reports detailing the
impact of medical marijuana in Mississippi.
Honors College Capstone Thesis Fall 2023-Present
● Research project examining the impact of dying newspapers across the Mississippi Delta.
