TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. MATEST LABORATORY SERVICES AND TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS INC. must submit

quotations, company information’s and waivers etc. to the clients.
2. As soon as the clients agree with the terms and conditions, Client shall invite MATEST
Technical Team for an ocular inspection, informing the terrain, status, source of water and
electricity of the project at their own expense or as agreed.
3. After receiving an advance payment of 50%, mobilization shall commence at the most
convenient time provided all permits and obligations to enter the vicinity of the project is
totally cleared by the clients.
4. Prior to concrete coring a cover meter survey must be conducted to locate steel bars, metals
or wires. In case the cover meter fails to give exact information due to its capacity limit,
clients may opt to refer to the as-built plan and proceed with the markings for coring works.
5. Likewise, if in the course of coring a hard object is hit causing damage to our drill bits a
considerable amount of half of the amount of the drill bit is charge to the clients. Please take
into account that the drill bit is for concrete only. Cost of drill bit any size Php. 15,000.00 per
bit.
6. And in no case the scope of works continuous to hit such hard objects and find the works to
be already unsafe, MATEST has the right to terminate its contract without violation of
breach of contract.

7. For cancellation of testing, clients shall update our Technical department for rescheduling of
testing but not later than seven (7) days.
8. The client shall provide assistance to MATEST operation team such as electricity, water,
scaffoldings, ladder, buckets and labor aide at no expense to MATEST.
9. Clients shall provide location plan indicating details or proposed testing works, the exact
location of testing shall be cleared & labeled to prior to our commencement of work.
10. Client must ensure that the area to be tested is safe, clear from all debris which may be
prevented / delay testing works. If the area to be tested is unsafe or not accessible, we
reserve the right to neither transfer to the nearest location nor discontinue the work.
11. Client shall be responsible for clearing & subsequently restoration & cleaning of dirt.
12. While we exercise utmost diligence in the performance of work under this quotation,
unforeseen embedded utilities that maybe accidentally damaged will not be our
responsibility.
13. Client shall pay for every core bad sample that our technician may obtain from the concrete
structure. The amount of Php 1,000.00 shall be charge to client per core bad sample.
14. Location of core drill shall be jointly stake-out by the client & contractor/ sub-contractor duly
designated representative.
15. MATEST LABORATORY SERVICES AND TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS INC. “are not liable” to any
damage on the structure when the Clients agreed to perform coring works, even if there are
many rebars hit and cut on the said structure.
16. Client shall provide Airfare back & fort, excess baggage, good hotel accommodation &
quality meal for our technician’s staff during the course of this contract. (APPLICABLE FOR
VISAYAS & MINDANAO PROJECT ONLY)
17. Issuance of test report by this office shall takes place after receiving full payment for the
work
