1. Diagram below shows a sector OAB with centre O and radius 9 cm. Triangle OAC drawn in the sector such
that AC = 5 cm and OC = 6 cm.

Given that the area of triangle OAC equal to the area of the shaded region. Find the value of in radian.

2 Diagram below shows a sector with centre O and radius 9.3 cm. Given that Q lies on the circumference.

Find
(a) the perimeter of the shaded region,
(b) the area of the shaded region.
3. Diagram below shows a piece of water melon in a shape of a sector with centre O.

Given that the arc length of AB and CD is 20 cm and 16 cm respectively with the portion ABCD is not edible.
If AC = 2 cm and the length of a piece of the water melon is 10 cm, find
(a) the angle ,
(b) the volume of the area that can be eaten.

4. Diagram below shows a designed square tile ABCD. Given that the length of AB is 14 cm. The four shaded
region are identical. OPQ and BPQ are sectors with centre O and B respectively.

If there are 150 same tiles on the floor, find the area covered by the shaded regions.

5. Diagram below shows a semicircle PTQ with centre O and a quadrant SRT.

[Use ]
Calculate
(a) the value of in radians,
(b) perimeter of the whole diagram,
(c) area of the shaded region.
