phrase

When the bible refers to elle toledot it refers to:

"generations of heaven and earth"

Noah's family all the way down to Jacob and the 12 tribes

Adam & Eve
Adam and Eve are the rst two people to be created by god. Adam and Eve were
the perfect creation, but their one aw, like humans from many other creation
stories, was their hunger for knowledge. God tested Adam and Eve’s loyalty to him
by commanding them not to eat fruit from an oddly speci c tree. At rst they were
loyal, but when a serpent emerged from the tree and confronted Eve, her curiosity
caused her to betray her loyalty for god and eat the fruit. Later, Eve decided to
share the fruit with Adam, and God punished them heavily.

A Little Bit About Noah

elleh toledot mostly refers to Noah and his family

according to the bible, he is a righteous and generally sinless

man

he was chosen by God over others because of his blameless

piety

He was the one chosen to save the human race and animals
from the ood that killed every living thing except for those
on his arc

Noah's Ark
So, after the events before, it wouldn’t be surprising to notice that god wasn’t happy
with his creation. He only saw evil in humanity at the time and decided to kill everybody
in the world with the biggest ood in the world. Luckily, God decided to warn one
particular family about the ood: Noah’s family. Upon hearing the news, Noah decided
to make an ark to survive the upcoming disaster, and collected two of every bird and
animal so that earth wouldn’t be completely barren of any form of life. When the ood
started, everyone who used to doubt him now started to regret their choices, while his
family hopped into the boat and oated away to safety.
