Qualification Process

We want to make sure that you get the recognition you deserves so the first thing we
need from you is your CIPD number. We cannot start the completion process without
it. So send this to your tutor as soon as you can. It makes sense to send it to them
when you become a student member but send it over when you pass your final
assessment, at the latest.

So the process is as follows:

Tutor checks - units passed

Final unit resubmission and CIPD number provided Internal quality checks
grades released
(Approx. 1 week) (Approx. 3 weeks)

CIPD postal certificates

Avado e-certificate
(12 – 16 weeks) generated

1. Once the final unit resubmission grades are released, your tutor will check
that you have completed all units and add your information – including CIPD
number – to a completion report.

1. The information on that report is quality checked internally.

2. Around 3 - 4 weeks after the final unit resubmissions are graded and released,
you will receive a link to access your Avado e-certificate.

3. Everything is sent to CIPD and they will post their certificate to you around 10 –
16 weeks later.
