Duties & Responsibilities: ‐

 Make necessary adjustments and manipulate gun to control and obtain proper finish,
exercise care to prevent dust, dry spray and dirt.
 Strive for continues improvement to reduce lead time.
 Team worker.
 Maintaining a safe work environment and identifying hazards and safety awareness.
 Follow verbal and written work instructions
 Train and work in various area of production in response to production demands.
 Erecting scaffolding or setting up ladders safely to perform task above ground level.
 Cleans paint lines, Paint guns and perform other cleaning preventative maintenance to
ensure that painting apparatus to maintain in working order.
 May also perform duties of Preparation Worker.
 Mixing and Applying alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, power coats, urethane and water born
paint systems according to a prescribed formula.
 Operates conventional and Airless spray equipment’s to apply industrial paints finishes
on metal and other types of surfaces.
 Adjust nozzles on spray guns to obtain the proper dispersion of the stray and monitors
pressure amount.
 Prepares, Coats finishes metal and all other surfaces.
 Prepares materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint, laminate, rubber or
other materials.
 Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
 Maintain regulatory environmental records.
 Maintain painting equipment’s area.
 Own the operations of beads and short blasting equipment.
 Ensure proper operations of neutralization system and paint booth.
 Own the assembly of the components and equipment.
 Preparation the materials to be painted by Tapping, washing or using other approved
methods.
