Black wire remains as before. You are measuring correct idle adjustment 0.3 volts 0.2 volts. When activating throttle control to full throttle position, voltage reading should increase smoothly and without interruption to 2.5 - 4.9 volts (4.9 volts maximum). You are now measuring the correct adjustment (speed control pedal not activated and throttle control fully pushed in) 0 volts. Place Range Shift Lever in neutral (centre). (Page B- 2 #14) ‘¢ Remove left front wheel and inner wheel well cover. ‘¢ Remove tie from rubber boot of RPM sender. Remove boot and remove connecting wires. ‘© Set multimeter to frequency measuring. Red wire from volt/ohm plug (positive) to Inducer (RPM) ‘Sender. Black wire from COM plug (negative) to inducer (RPM) Sender {illustration 12). With correct adjustment of the Inducer (RPM) Sender (0.5mm gap from inducer wheel) and function on multimeter, at idle speed (approximately ‘900 RPM) reading 650 Hz at full speed (approximately 2600 RPM) reading 1900 Hz. ‘© Inducer (RPM) Sender - Testing with A.C. Multimeter Setting Proceed as described above with multimeter on A.C. setting. Idle speed reading (900 RPM) = 3 volts to = 7 to 10 volts at full speed 2600 RPM. Inducer Sender (Travel Speed) - Testing Without Test Box Frequency Measurement (Hertz) ‘© Remove right front wheel and inner wheel well cover. '@ Remove tie from rubber boot. Remove rubber boot and disconnect two wires. ‘© Set multimeter to frequency measuring position. Red wire from volt/ohm plug (positive) to inducer sender. Black wire from COM plug (negative) to inducer Sender (Illustration 13), To test travel speed impulses, the variable speed pump has _llustration 13. to be engaged.
