My name is Ehssan James Garcia, an international student and I am currently taking a subject in (indicate

written this essay, I feel enthusiastic and passionate at the same time because I have chosen a topic that I
am interested in.
Social Media has been part of our daily routine. It has a huge impact on our society. We can make friends
with anyone around the world, sharing information and experiences daily. We become dependent on it
that standards from ourselves should be aligned by the numbers of likes and comments we get every time
we posted online. The topic I have chosen will make us think about the time and energy we are using
while using social media platforms and how these platforms negatively influence one’s behavior in
society.
As we are emerging in a more convenient type of world, we should be responsible users of social media
platforms. Knowing its negative impact would let us learn the boundaries of using social media. As the
popular social media tagline says, “Think before you click!”.
