Are there tax implications of using MarTrust?
• Using MarTrust will not have any tax Implications
• It is the seafarers obligation to declare its taxable income to their respective
governments.
• If your concern is that the payment method is changing and this may trigger higher
taxes, the answer is that your payroll through the e-wallet will include the same
information mitigating this risk.
• Any payment reference would flow through our banking partners
to the local banks in the country in which you are paid, so there is
no impact
Why not just use a bank?
• Most banks do not offer the same level of support as MarTrust, nor do
