Sapagkat hindi espiritu ng pagkaalipin ang inyong tinanggap upang kayo'y mamuhay sa takot. Sa halip, ang
inyong tinanggap ay ang Espiritu ng pagkupkop upang kayo'y gawing mga anak ng Diyos, kaya tayo'y
tumatawag sa kanya ng, “Ama, Ama ko!” 16 Ang Espiritu ang nagpapatotoo, kasama ng ating espiritu, na tayo'y
mga anak ng Diyos. 17 At yamang mga anak, tayo'y mga tagapagmana ng Diyos at kasamang tagapagmana ni
Cristo. Sapagkat kung tayo'y kasama niya sa pagtitiis, tayo'y makakasama niya sa kanyang kaluwalhatian.

There are two aspects of our inheritance that are very important for us as believers to
understand.
1. Our Eternal Inheritance.
Titus 3:7
...that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

I believe it is very important for us to catch a glimpse of what our eternal inheritance is
going to consist of, because it will help us to endure all that comes our way in this life
when we see the greater glory that is awaiting us.
2 CORINTO 4:17
17
Sapagkat ang mga paghihirap na dinaranas namin sa mundong ito ay panandalian lamang at hindi
naman gaanong mabigat. At dahil sa aming mga paghihirap, may inihahandang gantimpala ang Dios
para sa amin na mananatili magpakailanman at hinding-hindi mapapantayan.
PAHAYAG 21:4

Papahirin niya ang mga luha sa kanilang mga mata. Wala nang kamatayan, kalungkutan, iyakan o
sakit. Sapagkat lumipas na ang dating kalagayan.”

2 CORINTO 2:9

-The Bible is not real specific on all of the details that await us, but it does say that it will be beyond our
expectations and imaginations.

2. Our Spiritual Inheritance Here and Now.

EPHESIANS 1:13-14
 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having
believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of
the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

---Being a co-heir with Christ means that we actually begin to partake of His blessings right now.

1 JUAN 1:9
9 Ngunit kung ipinagtatapat natin sa Dios ang ating mga kasalanan, maaasahan nating patatawarin niya ang ating mga
kasalanan at lilinisin tayo sa lahat ng uri ng kasamaan dahil matuwid siya.

MATEO 8:17
17 Sa gayon, natupad ang sinabi ni Propeta Isaias, “Inalis niya ang ating mga kahinaan, pinagaling ang ating mga
karamdaman.”

ROMA 14:17
17 Sapagkat ang paghahari ng Diyos ay hindi tungkol sa pagkain o inumin; ito ay tungkol sa matuwid na pamumuhay,
kapayapaan, at kagalakan na ipinagkakaloob ng Espiritu Santo.

ROMA 8:37
37 Sa lahat ng mga ito, tayo'y lalong higit pang magtatagumpay sa pamamagitan niya na nagmamahal sa atin.

-How to possess these inheritances?

1. BELIEVE THAT IT BELONGS TO YOU.

ROMA 4:20-21
20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and
gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

Waver- to lose strength or HOPE, determination, or purpose, especially

-There are many things that have been given to you to enjoy in this life, that will help you to be

PRODUCTIVE and SUCCESSFUL in fulfilling God’s purpose and destiny for your lives.

-We have to be like Abraham and not waver at the promises God has for us.
2. CULTIVATE A LIFESTYLE OF FAITH & OBEDIENCE.
HEBREO 11:8

8 Dahil sa pananampalataya, sinunod ni Abraham ang utos ng Dios na pumunta sa lugar na ipinangako sa

kanya. Umalis siya sa bayan niya kahit hindi niya alam kung saan siya pupunta.

----As we are faithful to cultivate a heart of faithfulness in obedience and faith, we will abound in the inheritance

God has for us.

1 JOHN 3:22

22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are

pleasing in His sight.

Our spiritual inheritance is the land of promise and can only be attained by living
a life of faith and obedience
---When we are consumed with the carnality of our mind and worldly pleasures, we are forsaking our spiritual

inheritance for something that is temporal.

3. WALK IN STRENGTH & COURAGE.

JOSHUA 1:6

6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to

their fathers to give them.

One of the things that God delights in is that of presenting us with challenging
circumstances that in the natural seem somewhat difficult or uncomfortable to us.

-------There are many times in our life, that only after exercising courage to deal with something (matinding

pagsubok), then the peace and joy of God has come.

4. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO IT FOR THE LORD

COLOSSIANS 3:23-24

23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you

know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
------“Whatever you do, think of the Glory of God as your main goal.”

12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light
