Re: Change in Musical Theater Director

Dear Parents,

As we have been concerned with the progress of this years school play, Annie, Jr., Mr. Stover
will no longer be involved in the production of the show. I’d like to introduce Ms. Grace Perry.
Ms. Perry will be taking the lead as our Drama Director, and will be working with the head of
our music program, Mr. Schwertfeger (Mr. S). Ms. Perry has an extensive background in musical
theater, including working on many productions, with experience in student stage productions,
serving as manager, dance instructor, choreographer, as well as on tech and crew. Ms. Perry is a
graduate of American University, and holds a B.A. in Musical Theatre Performance and Business
Entertainment, as well as Stage Combat Certification. We are very fortunate to have Ms Perry
join our Veritas family. She will be holding a parent meeting to get all students and parents up to
speed on the production. Additionally, there will be a calendar that will lay out the production of
the show. When you meet her, please extend a big Veritas welcome. Please note, there will be no
play practice until you receive the schedule and letter from Ms. Perry. Please be on the lookout
for this early this week. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
