800 Series Daily Inspection


Daily inspection of X-800 procedure (by ***Qualified Person)

*Check for any damage or defect on all parts of the unit.

Comments:

*Visually inspect safety load lines, master links, safety sling and hardware. 
*Periksa secara visual jalur beban keselamatan, tautan master, selempang pengaman, dan perangkat keras.

Comments:

*Visually inspect crane hook positive locking device for function and physical
conditions.  
*Periksa secara visual perangkat pengunci positif kait derek untuk fungsi dan kondisi fisik
Comments:

*Check sidewall rigging, top & bottom platforms, and cushion ring for wear
or damage.  
* Periksa tali-temali jaring samping, platform atas & bawah, dan cincin bantalan siap untuk dipakai atau ada kerusakan ?
Comments:

* Ensure snag resistant tag line is properly affixed.


* Pastikan tag line dipasang dengan benar
 

***If any load bearing area of the 800 Series is worn or defective in any way, take the unit out of
service immediately.

***We recommend a JSA be completed before personnel transfer operations commence.

***API definition of “Qualified Person” – A person designated by the employer who has the
experience and training to safety operate the crane, rigging, and lifting devices assigned at the
work location.

*Check for any damage or defect on all parts of the unit.  


Comments:

*Inspect top and bottom lifting ring for excessive wear, cracks, or corrosion
following manufacturer’s recommendation and relevant API spec.  
Comments:

*Visually inspect safety load lines when attaching to crane. Inspect crane hook
positive locking device for function and physical condition. Pinch fibers of rope,
if fibers pull out, take the personnel net out of service.
 
Comments:

*Check sidewall rigging line splices (top & bottom) for wear, UV degradation
(blistering, discoloration, or cracking), and unraveling. All synthetic rope splices
should have a 3 tuck minimum.
 

*Visually inspect stabilizer and safety load line unit for visual damage including
external protective cover. Damaged stabilizers can be ordered and replaced in
the field.
 
Comments:

*Inspect bottom platform ring for deterioration, cracks, or angular distortion.  


Comments:

*Inspect top and bottom outer flotation ring covers for damage.  
Comments:

*Check cover on bottom platform ring for tears or cuts.  


Comments:

*Check top and bottom flotation batts for deterioration or damaged closed cell
foam.  
Comments:

*Visually inspect bottom and top pneumatic cushion hoses (if so equipped) for
deterioration or damage.  
Comments:

*Inspect for modifications or non-OEM supplied components. Non OEM


components or modifications should be removed.  
Comments:

***API definition of “Qualified Inspector” – A person so designated by the employer who by reason
of appropriate experience and training, in addition to meeting requirements of a qualified person,
has attended formal training in inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cranes, rigging,
and lifting devices.
