Section 15 provides for the kind of
vaccine to be used. Section 16.— No fee shall be charged by any vaccinator, except a private vaccinator, to the parent or guardian of any child for any of the duties imposed on such vaccinator by or under the provisions of this Act. Section 17 prescribes the duties of Superintendents of Vaccination and prescribes that notices shall be sent to parents or guardians who neglect to comply with the Act. Section 18 prescribes the procedure when a notice has not been complied with or when the order of a Magistrate has not been obeyed. It prescribes also that the Magistrates appointed under this section shall be natives of India and not paid servants of the Government.
