Topic : The disadvantages of living in the city
Firstly, the city has many good schools for me to attend. I can gain a lot of knowledge and -
have a good career in the future.
Secondly, it’s not too difficult for me to find a good job with high salary. There are many -
jobs for me to choose when I graduated.
Thirdly, there are many beautiful parks, zoos, specially water parks. I can choose one of
these places to relax at the weekend with my friends or my family.
Finally, mean of transports are very convenient. I can take the bus to go around the city with -
cheap prices all the time before 10 p.m
DISADVANTAGE
- First, the air in the city is getting more and polluted because the traffic is so heavy, smoke
from factories and vehicles…. There are fewer and fewer trees, lakes and rivers.
- Second, the cost of living is much higher than in the rural areas. People have to spend more -
money on food, drink, clothes and other activities like traveling and entertainment, while
the salary has not been much improved.
- life in the city is more dangerous than in the countryside because of night clubs, bar, … .
- the city is too noisy. Motorbikes, cars, trucks,… are too much, they never stop making noise -
even at night.
- people living in the city isn’t as friendly as people living in the countryside.

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more are giving people a chance to communicate with
people around the world. in this essay, we will see the advantages and disadvantages of social
media.
ADVANTAGE:
- Social networking gives me a chance to connect with people around the world.
As long as there is a connection to the Internet and a profile created, I can become “friends”
or a “followen r” of someone and chat with them at anytime.
- Being on a social network is a lot of fun.
After a hard working day, I often spends 1 hour using social networking such as facebook,
ins or youtube. I love listening to music and watching some short video in youtube every
nights before going to bed. And then, I often chat with my friends through facebook. It helps
me relax and have a lot of fun.
- Social networking can help students study better at school.
I often use social media to discuss educational topics with my friends. My classmates say
that they talk about their school exercises with their friends thanks to the social.
Despite having a lot of advantages, social media has quite disadvantages.
DISADVANTAGE
 Social media attack your privacy. Internet users can be leaked of personal
information.
 Internet users can be addicted and causes health problems such as short-sighted,
sleepless, tired, …., so we shouldn’t spend it too much.
 It also results in cyberbullying and scams everyday.
 There are many kind of tabloid newspapers on the internet, they’re just full of
gossip, scandal and lies. So, You have to carefully read online newspapers on the
internet.
 we can waste too much time. Some people spend much time playing games,
chatting, surfing the webs, … .
