Cailleach

Tapestries long forlorn,

Of which disorder breeds,
Wrap my bloody form tonight
To breath my dying wish.

You who rain the tears of life

And made the rivers flow.
They poison what you’ve given us
Now let this poison show.

Hear the cries of Motherland

Who lay bare as she grieves.
No longer carry due respect
Content, all make-believe.

Cannot unsee the sight in me

Nor will these hearing stop.
So let bare witness moonless night
The curses of my heart.

Life for life, my blood in knife

Hear my screaming sacrifice.
By air you carry deadly strife
Until they value all of life.

The vast embrace of golden skies

May bridge the echoes of my heart
Under this moonless night abound
Gaze gently still as I impart:

Blood for blood, preserve all life

Let me be the sacrifice.
Make use of all my love tonight
To heal the hearts and end the strife.

No words can ever speak your love

Yet love created me.
No actions justify the care
of all the things I see.

No words could ever rectify,

No actions overturn.
The cobblestones of love you made
Will stand forever more.

The ebbs and waves of eastern tides

Sustained the life ashore.
The graving hills, the forestry
Creations made anew.
