Option 4. Crystal Xcelsius Dashboards using Analytics as part of Dashboard Manager

Solution Overview Architecture

This option runs an OLAP Universe

report over SAP BW data which is
then used by Dashboard Manager
to create a Xcelsius based Analytic.

General Information
• Only able to connect to OLAP Universes in regards to SAP data sources.
• The user is getting prompted for values without a “List of values”, which means the
user needs to know the key values for the prompt values.
• This approach is limited to a single OLAP Universe – no capability of combining
multiple data sources.
• Users can store the Analytic as a stand alone Analytic or add to Dashboards.
