The concept of “family” is a essential
component in any discussion of
relationship, but this varies greatly from
person to person.
FRIENDS
A friend can be thought of as a close tie
between two people that is often built upon
mutual experiences, shared interest,
proximity, and emotional bonding.
PARTNERSHIPS
Romantic partnerships, including
marriage, are close relationships
formed between two people that are
built upon affection, trust, intimacy, and
romantic love.

Love Relationship
Love is a complex concept to study. It is too
personal and too integral to being human.
Just like saying that chemists cannot study
carbon because it is too integral to life or
physicists cannot study bosons because it
is so important to the universe.
Developing Over Time
Stage 1: Attraction.
It is a positive response to a person beyond
friendship. The first step in this stage is
physical attraction. It happens when your
body reacts to another person. Your heart
rate increases, your temperature rises,
your palm gets sweaty, there is butterfly in
your stomach, your throat tightens, and so
on and so forth. Physical attraction
represents the first contact.
Stage 2: Romance.
It is an act of trying to influence or gain
the favor of another by lavishing
attention or gifts upon them. There are
two types of romance selfish romance
and selfless romance.
Selfish Romance occurs when you do
romantic acts solely for the purpose of
gaining something for yourself. For
instance, getting gifts, to impress
someone else or simply get sexual
favors whether your partner is
interested or not Selfless Romance
Stage 3: Passion.
It is the desire for another person, which
has grown to an intensity that cannot be
ignored. This is often the point where an
emotional relationship turns into a
physical relationship.
Stage 4: Intimacy.
It is a dose association with another
person of the deepest nature. During
this stage, you share your thoughts,
your feelings, your dreams, in true
intimacy, there is nothing that you
cannot tell the other person
Stage 5: Commitment.
It is a pledge to remain true throughout
good and bad times. Commitment is
easy when times are good but can be
extremely difficult when times are bad

1.Infatuation
This stage where an individual finds
himself interested in getting along
with the prospective romantic
partner. These are the factors why
you feel infatuated to someone.
2. Status
This stage where the focus is on
establishing, improving, or maintaining
peer group status.
3. Intimate
This the stage where an individual is
ready emotionally involved. The
focus is on establishing true and
meaningful relationship with romantic
partner.
4. bonding
The stage where the focus is on
commitment and caring more than
passion and pleasure.

1.Mutual Respect
Respect in a relationship means
that each person values who the
other is and understand and would
never challenges the other person’s
boundaries.
2. Trust
Trust is not given but earned just
like respect. Definitely, you would
not want to be with anybody whom
you cannot have peace of mind.
3. Honesty
This one go hand-in-hand with trust.
So difficult to trust someone when
he/she isn’t being honest. Have you
ever caught your friend in a major
lie?
4. Support
It’s also just bad times that you give
your support. Some people who are
there with you when your whole world
going right but cannot stay when
things are fall apart.
5. Fairness
You need to have give-and-take in
your relationship, too. Things get bad
really fast when a relationship turns
into a power struggle, with one person
fighting to get his or her way all the
time.
6. Separate Identities
In a healthy relationship, everyone
needs to make compromises.
7. Good Communication
A lot of relationship is ruin because of
miscommunication. Never keep a
feeling bottled up because you’re
afraid that your friend or significant
one might think you are a less smart.
