Internship Guidelines New
Internship: After the end of second semester, the students shall undertake internship in a business
firm and prepare a Business Familiarization Report under the guidance of an allotted faculty
member.
The report shall be submitted before the commencement of the third semester. Failing which, the
student shall not be permitted to attend the third semester classes. Internship conducted in a year
should be for a continuous period of minimum 6 weeks in a given academic year.

Executive Summary
Chapter 1: Detailed introduction about the Industry with special reference to Global, and
national origin and growth of industry, assess their market shares, strengths, weaknesses,
and strategies, current market size, place and historical growth rates, contribution to
national economy from this industry. Future growth and prospects of the industry.

Chapter 2: Organization Profile, Background, Nature of business, Organizational
Structure, Vision, Mission, Objectives, Quality Policy, Workflow model, Ownership
pattern, Infrastructural facilities, Achievements/awards, recognitions, Certifications,

(b) Customers/Consumers profiles and competitor’s details (National and
Global) and positions in the market
Chapter 4: McKinsey’s 7S framework, SWOT Analysis and Porter’s Five Force Model
with special reference to Organization under study.

Chapter 6: Learning experience-Reiterate the importance of the internship experience
for your professional development. Emphasize how the internship has enriched your
understanding and prepared you for your academic and career journey
